Thanks for sharing! It happens… the whole thought that people need lawyers is a sore point. Speaks to how lawyers as politicians have secured their own jobs forever more. Would be nice if officer was able to exercise warning. Also sounds like officer was mad you for taking him to court with exaggerated language. Ride safe!

Thanks for watching. I couldn't agree more about the legal system, that's why they call it a racket. My mistake was putting my helmet on the mirror with the camera facing him and when he saw that his attitude changed. It wasn't intentional on my part but I got a video out of it, haha. Sorry for your plight mate. I recently got done for 38mph in 30mph. My fault entirely I am 64 and riding for48 yrs. no tickets. There were 3 traffic cops, 3 bmw motorcycles. The cost of all that. They jumped out of a bus stop. Cba about fine and or speed awareness course, but points on licence it was my pride. Digital speedo slight movement of wrist numbers flick. So much worse driving/behaviour than mine. Thought about giving up then thought sod it. Most of my friends same age have been done for speeding. All old timers only done just over limit. Really. As u say purely revenue. Why do govt allow imports of 200 bhp bike and 500 bhp cars and stick max limit is 70 in uk. Total tosh.

That's sucks, I assume you lost your license because of your overall record not the one incident? (Sorry if I missed that in the video). Here in Canada, in an 80kmh or 100kmh zone if you are caught doing 50kmh over the limit you get a minimum 30 day license suspension and vehicle impounded for at least 2 weeks, plus a hefty fine. They call it stunt driving. It seems a bit excessive to me, especially when you look at the average speed on the highways is already 120-130kmh. Ride Safe!

Mate, I'll be honest I'm still confused with the law here but I did lose my licence because of the one ticket for being 30kph plus over the limit. I had all my points at the time. My driving record had a lot of small offences over 30 plus years so the magistrate didn't let me off. Thanks for watching and commenting brother.

It's motorcycle cops job to issue tickets. That's their task (traffic enforcement). If they are not, then they are unofficially in trouble. . As for cops being honest.. Yeah, some are but quite a few aren't. I've seen a few cases of less than professional behaviour and corruption. One thing to remember is that a cop is just a human. They make errors, let their own attitude or personal feelings get in the way sometimes. As for stupidity on the road, I've seen plenty (cars driving like idiots tailgating / harassing other motorists and on a bike, you have no shield around you. The throttle is the only advantage (although frowned upon, it is the solution to a problem sometimes). I've even had a crazy guy chasing me down because I looked at him for about 1/2 second. He was on his phone at the time and weaving all over the place. It was a multi lane road and I slowed to assess if it was safe to pass (at the speed limit) as I didn't want to get cleaned up. He took offence and gave chase. I lost him (obeying the speed limit officer) and ducked between some cars in another lane to have him pass making angry gestures out the window. Another time I had a guy in a bmw(not a cop) who was holding 3 (OR 4 ???) lanes of traffic on the pacific freeway. He seemed to want to keep everyone at 80 KPH (in the 110 zone). I managed to get past. He gave chase, passed me at about 130-140 , pulled in front then stood on the brakes. I wasn't sure where the other cars were now and was focusing on his stupidity. We slowed all the way down to about 60 - 70 KPH and the other cars that were doing 80 , passed me. I was now boxed in . I escaped this (legally officer) *maybe in a questionable way* and pulled over at a petrol station to stay off the road for a while. With unpredictable crazies like that, you don't want to be checking your mirrors constantly as they could do anything (hit and run / swerving, etc) I filled up and sat around for 5 minutes then entered the freeway again and got out to the speed limit. This was on a long trip of about 400 Km so I had been on the bike for hours.

At 3:43 you were doing 134 on the speedo, which, when you take off 10% for the speedo error, would be 120kph, what the cop said you were doing. So, that's when he caught you and started the bike to catch you. I see he still had the gun in his hand when he pulled you over. You rolled the dice and lost this one, buddy.

Just think of all of the times in the past you were speeding or doing something to get a ticket for - This one time you got caught. IF you tell me you have driven perfectly prior to this then you kind of have an argument - According to your speedometer, I would say you speed quite a lot mate!

130 in an 80 zone you were speeding the whole trip. You should be lucky to have a license. You were driving in the right hand lane if your worried about tradies then just ride in the middle lane and do the actual speed limit. You seem detached from reality your doing 110 to 120 in a 100 zone only slowing down due to traffic then continuing to travel 100 to 130 in an 80 zone and you think that somehow you were unlucky to get fined and the police man was in the wrong and to further depart from reality you think after posting footage people would side with you. If you were driving the limit and sped up to overtake a truck thats fair enough but you were speeding the whole time and its no surprise that your record is so bad. And to think that adding your footage into evidence would help you lol yeah look at me judge i was speeding the whole time but hey when the cop got me i was overtaking a truck and maybe he didn't tarce me with the speed gun for long enough.😅

I'm an American been riding for 15 years on the street and all my life on the dirt. Dunno how it is in the land down under but you would be nailed hard for that here as well. I know alot of the gents here in the comments are saying you were being safe by blasting the throttle to avoid the 18 wheeler. That's bullshit being beside a trucker won't kill you and the Law is for cars and bikes. Break it and it's your ass. Shame you quit riding that's a knee jerk reaction I will tell you when I was 25 I had a similar background tickets every year always arguing with the pigs. I still do wheelies I still speed and I still overtake in the no passing zone. I dont do any of that where cops make a living. Good luck to you shake it off
