My beautiful Shannan! I can’t even explain how much i can relate to the video and how brave you are for speaking out. I’ve never heard that grief quote before, it made me so emotional hearing it because it’s so true. Grief is just awful and it’s hard to explain it to those who haven’t experienced it which is why therapy can help so much. We all live with the regrets of things we wish we did or said at time but it’s so hard to know the value of the moment until it’s in the past. You are such a brave girl and your mum will be so incredibly proud of you xxx

This was such a beautiful, honest, raw video and I'm so glad you feel you're in a place where you're able to speak about this. Your mum would be so so proud of the beautiful young lady you've become and I'm sure she would ADORE buzz and Oli. Sending so so much love and thanks for sharing your experience with us all. I cannot even being to imagine how hard it was for you and your siblings losing your mum at such a young age❤️

You my angel are just so brave and inspiring. Words couldn’t ever do the world justice on how proud you should be of yourself for even speaking about this sort of stuff online, you help so many others without realising it. Your mumma would be so proud, especially as you yourself are such an amazing mumma and keep striving every dam day no matter what you face. That quote was beautiful, thank you for sharing x Don’t ever change and thank you for making content like this. X x x x x

I really feel for everything you went through- it’s hard enough losing a parent as an adult, but I can’t imagine it happening as a child. I love that quote about grief - it’s so true. My sister is terminally ill and when we first found out, I would wake in the middle of the night and crumpled into tears - or at other random times. My youngest daughter shares a birthday with her Dad - she’s only 10 and recently said to me that she doesn’t think she’ll ever enjoy her birthday again if he dies. Made me so upset - and he has told her she must always celebrate her birthday. It’s such a difficult, painful subject for so many people, but well done for giving yourself the headspace to talk so openly- I truly hope it helps to put your heart at peace to some degree. xx

The quote is the most accurate one I've ever seen about loss and grief, it really helped me to understand it. Im so so sorry to hear about your sister, life can be so cruel and it's completely understandable for you to be feeling that way and have those outbursts of emotion. It really is such a difficult thing to process and understand yet so many of us unfortunately have to go through loss at some point in our lives. I can completely relate with your youngest daughter but I always try to tell myself how lucky I am and what an honour it is to share my day with mum. Of course it is bitter sweet but I guess it's her way of making she's always there for my big day! :) It sounds like your daughter has a fab support system with you guys xx

I really struggled to watch this, I lost my dad 5 years ago. I was 25 which is a lot older but I was the youngest of 4 children and I felt like my world had ended. (My mum wasn’t around). I have a lot of regrets, grief never goes away. You are so strong for talking about it xx

Oh my goodness I can't imagine what an impact that would have had on their lives. I'm so glad you've still got your dad and his best friend looking out for you! I think sometimes these awful things happen but they definitely make us realise who and what we do still have and feel grateful for those xx
