Los Lonely Boys is one of those unusual bands that is better live than in the studio. The studio recordings sound like they were recorded by a group of studio musicians-like they hired themselves to do back their own selves up. Very polished and yet somehow rather dry. But live..LIVE they’re suddenly this badass blues rock phenomenon. And Henry in particular is one chingonaso de gutarrista but you’d never otherwise.

Saw these guys live in 2004 on JoJo's Birthday - they were fantastic and still are. So much energy and passion for the music and as an old SRV Head they keep that sound alive...AMAZING stuff.
