Grief is a natural human response to change and loss in our lives and it doesn’t necessarily mean a person. Grief has a physical impact on our bodies as well as affecting our emotions and thinking. Grief is a different experience for everyone and it’s important that we find ways that are right for each of us to work through and yarn about how we feel. Like the seasons, we cannot hurry things we let them follow their natural course. It’s important to remember that no season lasts forever, they change, and so does our grief. Each season has its own story and is important for our growth. Facing our grief leads to healing and a deeper knowing of change and a deeper understanding of what brings meaning and hope to life. This video was created in collaboration with the Seasons for Healing program.
Featuring the voice of multi-talented Sean Choolburra, the IPEPA animated series are short films starring our hero, Sean. Sean embarks on journeys of understanding around palliative care and explores different aspects of what happens when we are diagnosed with a life-limiting illness.
