I know how much it can be to take care of my own loft. Handling two at different locations is impressive. Great job Tom.

Nice update. They're having lots of learning experience with each toss. Can't wait to see the 1st race.

@@littleloftonthehill 1st race was yesterday. Nothing to write home about. 2 of the 3 made it back. Hopefully the 3rd comes in today.

Get ready for the fires 🔥 😢 I did my first 70 mile toss today and they came home in small groups.

It was pretty smokey up Forest Hill Road. How have losses been since you started road work? Have you heard from any of the other lofts?
@CarranzaHugo3 ай бұрын
@@littleloftonthehill It’s been two weeks of road training, and I’ve lost about 7 pigeons so far. I’ve gradually increased the distances, going 5 miles, then 20, 40, and today I pushed to 70 miles. From the conversations I’ve had with other members the experiences seem to vary widely, some are facing high loss rates, while others are doing very well.

Love the video hey what’s up with graham can even find his you tube channel anymore did he quit?

Like most of us I would imagine he is trying to balance KZbin content and pigeons with the more important roles of husband, father and his ministry as a believer in Christ. I have not talked to him but I would imagine something had to give and it was KZbin. I believe he still planning on racing YB in his club.

How do you get them to trap right away after a toss? I can't seem to teach or have a strategy to trap them right away from a road toss?
@littleloftonthehill3 ай бұрын
I really work on this starting from right when I get the birds. You can check out some of the earlier videos this year. I don’t really ever give the birds open loft. If they are not trapping fast I would cut back the feed, just for a few days until they are trapping like you would like, then add feed back, feed as much as you can but keep them trapping fast. I suspect most feed too much.
