Don’t come since we have too many ignorant foreigners who don’t follow immigration law then blame the port of departure or airline. This was a Filipino airline applying Philippine immigration law . Why isn’t it you don’t understand?

Philippine Immigration instructed Cebu Pacific-Malaysia not to let her board the plane unless she is travelling with her spouse. Ang mali ng mga personnels sa Cebu Pacific-Malaysia is the way they insulted her. Instead of explaining properly and giving suggestions on what should she do in this kind of situation, they treated her like trash, a woman with no brain or an empty head/skull.

@@simplifiedlife5265 they did explain. In the first video she did mention the options they gave her.But she kept insisting she is balikbayan which she is not. Her Husband is as you need to be a citizen or ex citizen to be a balikbayan. They were rude but she did not listen when they explained. She also criticised the law . The fact is this isn’t a spouse visa. Her Husband as Filipino should have got her a proper spouse visa. The responsibility is on the passenger to know the law. No excuses for rudeness but isn’t it hard for airline staff to serve other passengers when all this is going on? She says the ambassador said she could fly, so he contradicted the law? Then why didn’t he give her a letter? Eventually she was only able to enter by buying another ticket to leave Philippines within 31 days. That is what airline staff told her to do on first day but she thought it was ridiculous. Fact is she didn’t come across well at all the way she behaved.

It's weird, but when I first saw you traveling with only your sister the first thing in my head was how are you doing that without your husband (based on a previous video where you shared the kids are registered as Filipino and you didn't need a visa because....). Am from the Caribbean, so I shook it off as my paranoia from knowing how we can be treated when traveling, so I was really shocked to see that it ended this way for you. Happy you have overcome this hurdle and are reunited with your children, I hope you are able to get it sorted out without both of you having to actually leave the country and return together. Apparently balikbayan visa only valid if you travel with balikbayan spouse or parent for the kids. Since the balikbayan visa is valid for a year with 6 month extension. For a more stable and length of stay just apply for regular spouse visa and alien resident visa which will take about 3 months to process and you dont need to travel with your spouse. Thats the process but the rude behaviour you received is still wrong from the Cebu Pacific Malaysian ground crew.

Happens to us...me and my husband... we bought a round trip ticket to Hong Kong for 3 days... but my husband was on hold by immigration because they were looking for another ticket besides the round trip... we couldn't fall out money on the ATM at the airport. Thanks be to God you're back home Pastor Liz. it's stressful to hear something like what happened to you. What is happening now at the airports regarding the departing and returning Filipinos and the foreign spouses of Filipinos is worrying. The government needs to pay attention to this. The negligent party must be responsible and pay for the inconvenience caused to you and your family. What is happening is embarrassing and annoying at the same time.

Wow the experience is very embarrassing and such a bad reflection on the Philippines and Malaysia, and to be honest it was very triggering as it seemed to be very racial. I’m so sorry for your experience Pastor Liz and thank you for documenting your experience, personally for now I’m sitting out on visiting the two for holiday as the first welcome point to any country is it’s airport.

Hi Nesa, it’s not a bad reflection at all on Pastor Liz as she handled the situation gracefully. It does happen at times that customers may misunderstand or misinterpret immigration laws or rules but that certainly does not justify a customer being verbally abused as they did to her, by hurling degrading insults at her. I also say it’s very triggering as I believe, that had a white lady made the same mistake she was going be treated kindly and with more patience. And that for me reflects very badly on Malaysia.

@@natalietsoka8167 I agree that Airlines should respect customers. However try to understand it is very difficult for them when a Passenger has clearly been informed she doesn’t meet the Entry requirements yet she is acting entitled and insisting on flying. How many times and for how Long should they explain? This is a Budget airline. They have limitations. Pls Google Balikbayan programme. It is clear she can only have this visa privilege when flying with spouse. It is unfair to airlines if they have to put up with ignorant passengers who refuse to accept that they don’t meet the requirements.

I still believe that this has to be reported so that changes have to be made in the airlines and immigration systems in the Philippines. There are so many needless suffering related to flights in and out of the Philippines and it has to change. Please get a lawyer or go to Raffy Tulfo or have someone do it for you to just report it so that changes will be made.
