Actually Ethan was born on the island in the flash sideways because it happened before the incident. He just wasn't raised on the island.
@firstenforemost2 жыл бұрын
Nothing in the misnomered "flash sideways" happened at any time. It's in the future in the afterworld, when everyone there has already died. Ethan was born on the island, raised on the island, killed by Charlie.
@lizthom94342 жыл бұрын
@@firstenforemost we find that out eventually, but the "timeline" itself is based on if the bomb destroyed the island instead of causing the incident. :)

It's so weird how creepy Ethan was in his first appearances, compared to how nice he actually is as a doctor (obviously this is flash-sideways, but still).

!! He was sooo creepy in Season 1, and then nothing but delightfully charismatic ever since lol

Rick is ASSUMING that Rousoe's people lost control of their will, because that scene lacked context, purposely, VIA TIME TRAVEL. Also, we only saw ONE of her team infected. The other's she had already killed. Robert could have wanted to kill her and Alex for an unforeseeable variety of reasons which could have been explained to him and to the rest of her team by a good, villainous, liar. Perhaps that liar explained that the Black Smoke was Satan and has taken the soul of Alex over and the end of the world would occur if Robert and his 2 teammates didn't kill his unborn child.

In season one, Ethan Goodspeed introduced himself to the Survivors as "Ethan Rom" from Ontario, Canada. In season two, Ana Lucia Cortez "spiked" Goodwin (Stanhope). EDIT: Changed and corrected "Ethan Goodwin" to "Ethan Goodspeed"

you are confusing Goodwin with Goodspeed (as in Horace)... two completely different characters, admittedly similar names...

I hate the whole infection thing. I hate what they did to sayid. Jacob kills his wife, he becomes a mindless slave to the smoke monster, and then kills himself to save his friends

This really is Jack's best season. His only good season, really. He's been a jerk for most of the show but he finally gets it together at the end.

The Smoke Monster's powers are the inconsistent thread throughout all of LOST. Including its ability to "infect" and what that means.

Kate episodes = worst episodes, no exception. The only good thing in them are the non-Kate scenes, like in this one the Sayid stuff.

"John is both dead and more powerful than he could ever imagine"? I guess Rick was simply being funny? Aaron WAS NEVER Kate's son. He was her VICTIM. I'm really tired of people romanticizing what was obviously a case of kidnapping on her part.
@cassandrasmith52312 жыл бұрын
Obviously a case of kidnapping? They had no clue where Claire was and Kate made sure Aaron was returned to safety on the mainland, which was the responsible thing to do in that situation.
@MlebKdrz2 жыл бұрын
I'm interested in different interpretations of the Kate/Claire/Aaron story. What makes you say that it's obviously kidnapping, if you don't mind sharing?
@gabrielleroux23332 жыл бұрын
@@cassandrasmith5231 you are both right. What she did by saving him was not kidnapping….. But to pretend it was her child once she was saved, instead of saying the truth and have Aaron be with relatives (possibly Claire’s mom), that was indeed kidnapping. During the press conference following their rescue, they told the medias that a few others survived the plane crash but died afterwards. What was keeping them from telling Claire died at childbirth for exemple?????? Simple: Kate felt responsible for the child, didn’t trust anyone, and got a sympathy boost during her trial cause she had a kid. I do sympathize with her, and understand/relate to what she did and why, BUT it is still kidnapping…
@grandmoffjake68712 жыл бұрын
@@gabrielleroux2333 as far as kate and everyone on the island knew, aaron was up for adoption and claires mother was in a coma, he had no family. After the press conference when she meets claires mom is another story, but at that point the lie had been spread out and the oceanic six believed that if people found out the truth about the island it would lead to the deaths of the 40ish people left on the island
@juanitajones69002 жыл бұрын
Jack originally had no intention of passing Aaron off as Kate's child. In a flashback from "The Little Prince", it was Kate who had suggested the lie and her reasons for doing so were selfish. This was confirmed in both "The Little Prince" and "Whatever Happened, Happened". Six months after their return to the States, Jack and Kate met Claire's mother, Carole Littleton, at Christian Shephard's funeral. Instead of informing Ms. Littleton that she had a grandchild, Kate and Jack maintained the lie. In fact, another two years and five months would pass before Ms. Littleton would learn that Aaron was her grandson. And that only happened because Cassidy finally shamed Kate into giving up Aaron.
