Yes Chris, accidents do happen. The fact that nobody was hurt is a very good thing. Equipment can always be replaced, people can't.

The fact he heard a pop probably made the difference of him being able to get the truck stopped safely and getting out of it . That could have been alot worse than it was glad no one got hurt

Can't say enough good things about having extra fire extinguishers especially with older equipment. Had a single axle tanker truck for sealcoat with a wire that rubbed off its insulation ground out catching insulation under the cab and an air line. I used the whole extinguisher then used my drink to finish putting it out on the insulation. I started carrying 2 extinguishers from that point forward. If I didn't use my drink, it would have gone up. I was concerned being it started with electrical but it moved to the insulation, so I got lucky.

Another thing is though you take care of your equipment sometimes it’ll take care of you. You don’t go out there and beat it and take care of the things you have to take care of every day. Check in things.

We bought a new Massey round baler. A bearing went bad and it was like a fuse since we were using sisal twine. It burned about half the field and thankfully no one was hurt and no equipment burned down 😅

Fire,I would go with the turbo letting go,the oil line pumped hot oil all over the engine alot of plastic parts under the hood. Plus it is very hard to put out mass amounts water/form.

Yeah I hated round bales too. And like you said Chris. Seeing someone mow around them. Made me cringe. Land is sometimes 10,000 an acre where I live. Why are you wasting the land that way.
@brianshell41112 сағат бұрын
You should use that trailer as hay storage lmao
@Johnny-y2c2 сағат бұрын

@mowerjeff899028 минут бұрын
Get rid off the trailer before you have a brain fart and decide to keep it. Yanko you do a fine job keeping the house clean.
