4x3 + 1 adren + 1 peacemaker should be enough for my 1475 gs alt right? She has +20 weapon and lvl 7 gems, with 6 lvl 4 tripods and the rest lvl 3. I think with some exp after doing clown on my other 2 5x3 chars i should get through clown on my gs as well

Hi, i have 4 gems lvl9 (dmg) for main skills and the rest lvl7, and need some advice should i start upgrade my lvl9(dmg) gems to 10 , or i get lvl9 cd gems for main skills? ( stats: Crit/spec @Salvation)

ngl ive got no idea, I kinda wanna say the lvl 9 CD cause its about 1/4th the cost but im not sure, lvl 9 dmg on your other 3 could also be a next step too but youd have to do some math to see if thats worth over 1 lvl 10 dmg

@@anw5772 thx for quick reply, as you said i think ill going for lvl9 cd then upgrading to lvl10 cd, some gunslinger main advice me to get lvl10 cd first, also i went from 500 swift to 0 so i noticed some slow on my rotation due to long cd. u use ring or earring? i have pm 5- 3 hit master spec but ring:( and idk if 700 spec is good and 1100 crit i think, all crit except ring with spec

i have a ring, i would of perfered an earring but with how prices worked out i went ring and then focused spec on the neck piece

Ill have to look into it some more but atm no, as far as i know lvl 1 class is still better, and the only time lvl 3 class becomes better is with ancient accessories and a 9 7 stone so you can go lvl 2 adren, however maybe im completely wrong ill have to check it out some more

as for spending the gold and pheons I won't be for sure, because even if Peacemaker 3 becomes stronger than lvl 1 class, lvl 1 class will still be very viable, and it wont be worth spending the gold and pheons for me, id rather use that gold and pheons to build an Alt's gear up

that's really impressive. I only have a 1465 gunslinger, and it's nowhere close to that amount. Do you think salvation would be a better option? i'm running nightmare with 1110 crit, 500 spec, and 500 swift. Or is the salvation set specific for your setup?

Feel free to try it out once you get enough mats to do the instant transfer, but I prefer salvation set, there's a forum post that talks about salvation vs nightmare and on paper nightmare BARELY does more dmg, however savation set does give 10% attack speed, which in turn allows me to take more stats in spec to scale your rifle abilities more because I don't need the attack speed from swiftness, along with having more attack speed than 500 swift would give, making getting abilities off in fights easier along with abilities CD's are longer (but hit harder) so keeping your skills on CD is easier mid fight, Idealy all 7 of your abilities are on CD the entire fight without sitting off CD for very long, GS is an Uptime class and so we have to spend a lot more active time attacking the boss than other classes to pull the same dmg, however with that its very engaging and entertaining

as for 1100 crit imo thats slightly too low, however it depends on your card deck, peacemaker lvl, and adren engraving lvl. for now it can work if you play at least adren 2 and the crit card deck, atm my build actually has too much crit because I built it planning on swapping out the crit card deck for the LOS 18 eventually when i get that. Idealy Id say ~1300 crit then the rest in spec, that would end up being around 800-850 spec, once your crit stat goes high enough to cap your shotgun abilities at 100% the crit stat starts to lose value because its only befitting sniper stance and handgun stance. also because of this whenever you have another crit synergy like a martial artist, when their 18% buff for 6 sec is active you need to prioritize using rifle skills because that 18% wont do anything to your shotgun skills

the other thing is tripods, tripods are VERY important on GS and scale VERY well, using the trick to get 6 lvl 4 tripods then filling in the gaps with lvl 3's will make a massive difference in dmg, and if you dont want to spend the pheons for the 6 lvl 4's just get 18 lvl 3's from your daily chaos dungeons, doesnt take long at all to earn, as you saw at the end of the video this build has 8 +4 tripods and the rest are +3's

@@aleXtreme_ same engravings too? if so then it would have to be how well you keep your skills on CD, if things are sitting off CD for awhile you lose a lot of dmg, because when youre in animation you can only use 1 skill at a time , which extents the duration skills have of time being off cd

i think this build is good but only if you have lvl 10 cd gems, for lvl 7 gems i think is better to have crit/swift and 1 spec ring and nightmare set for more cd

I would definitely disagree, both combat stats crit and spec give more value per point over swiftness, the raw dmg they give far outweighs the CD reduction from swiftness, the only time you would play nightmare would be full crit spec and have to deal with the atk speed lowered.

@@anw5772 Typically the salvation set is used with a full crit and spec build with no swiftness. You would use the new 7M build where you use 7 damaging skills (4 rifle skills, two shotgun with no shotgun rapid fire, and bullet rain on pistol). The salivation attack speed bonus makes up for the lack of swiftness. The nightmare set is used with a main stat crit, secondary swiftness (on neck), and can choose to have one spec accessory. For example 1200 crit, 400-500 swiftness, and like 200-300 spec or could use swiftness instead of spec. Normally you would use the standard build for this set (3 rifle and 3 shotgun with shotgun rapid fire).

So a few things, 1 Nightmare set does roughtly 3% more dmg than salvation depending on some factors, (there is a GS form post that goes into more details about that if youd like to check it out) 2 crit and spec give much more value in combat stats than swiftness, the problem with running swiftness is that by moving those combat stats you lose more than 3% dmg, meaning if you would put those points in crit or spec and just run salvation that would do more dmg than nightmare IFFFF the nightmare runs any points in swiftness, which also means that the highest dmg potential is nightmare crit spec, however the reason GS's dont run nightmare crit spec (at least for the moment) is because of the attk speed, we dont have lvl 3 yearning yet, once we do some might swap but many will stay with salvation. the reason Nightmare GS's run swiftness in the first place isn't for the CD reduction its solely for the attk speed, sure they will take the CD reduction but thats not the purpose of the swiftness, which as I said earlier moving those points and running salvation will not only give more dmg, but also more attk speed which is also why that build has become far less popular among the top gunslingers and they all play salvation.

@@cjagria I'd argue it will be smoother to play because of the attk speed if im being honest, my favorite GS build is actually High swiftness for the crazy speed, however thats not very realistic due to the significant loss in dmg
