Hey Memo, what if you dont proc C&J on your first rotation, do you still use awakening? At 1460 you cant really have enough swiftness yet to share awk CD with Dominion set, what would you recommend?

@@Kuoncchi Yes, you still have to use i. Try 4dominion 2 nightmare if 6 dominion is hard to use with mana problem

May i ask , im so into Spiral Edge because of its mobility , which skill would u choose to get rid of to save a spot for Spiral Edge ? I was thinking of Tream of Edge , but then Stream of Edge is a must for Conviction And if i dont use Stream of Edge , which skill should i put my Conviction on

Im guessing you run spiral over stream You will lose lot of crit rate and cpnviction judgement will be hard to use

So we play mysterious stampede And unlimited shuffle instead of Checkmate and the mobillity skill...scratch dealer was the name i think. New animations on evoke and dark ressurection look sick! But i will miss checkmate :( The skill just felt so good to use but obviously we don't use it cause of the yellow skill damage buffs from emperor engraving

Checkmate can be used over stempeding slash, but then you have to run mass increase or adrenaline over hit master

@@memorizer92 so it's personal preference? And around the same damage? Dps rotation with checkmate would differ a bit and i know its hard to compare dps of arcanist skills cause card inconsistency. I will try both skills out and see if i like stampede or checkmate more. Thanks for your reply

Is it viable swapping celestial rain for serendipity? I know the crit chance is lower for serendipity but having an extra counter and is a smooth skill (melee skill)

Im currently using Empress. Emperor doesnt have further update for this 6/1/1 build They do similar dmg when the skills all land, but Emperor has higher risk of bursting all skills

Unfortunately you lose lot of dps not just because of relic set uptime, but also mana problem

hey can I ask why we use Return after Call of Destinity, Dark Res, and Evoke? I thought we want the crit buff to apply to as many skills as possible? Can i do Evoke --> Return --> Dark Res ?

Dominion has higher potential But dmg fluctuates when you meet mob that moves alot(high risk). It's easy to bump to mana problem if you're bad at managing Nightmare has lower risk with lower potential(more appropriate for mob that moves alot). Emperor card does not get any buff from nightmare set. No mana stress

Any build can use checkmate ? Really love that skill and already have All-out-attack x12 :(. I build your previous guide build. Have already 4x3 engraving. It will be sad if Arcana cant use Checkmate anymore :(

Is there a reason to give evoke a cd gem or cd tripod if you have to wait for stream of edge to come off cd? in your video, your stream of edge cd in 14 seconds and your evoke cd in 9 seconds, so that's a 6 second wastage. wouldn't it better to give evoke the card draw tripod?

Same with Celestial rain, you have to wait for stream of edge to generate stack to use it so putting cd gem on it is a waste isn't it? the cd gem would be much better off be put on call of destiny

If you dont use it, evoke comes up later than stream. That was Lv5 preparation There's not much option for cdr gems.

@@memorizer92 But Evoke and Stream has the same cooldown of 24 seconds. If you give evoke quick draw instead of cooldown reduction tripod, and give both the same level of cdr gems, then both evoke and stream will come off CD at the same time isn't it? Having evoke proc quick draw twice will give you more drawing power too means you will get emperor cards more often which leads to more dps.

Hi, could you give me some advice concerning this build vs Empress? Since JiuDau switched to Empress as well, there has been a lack of attention to Emperor build since the PTR patch. Since the Arcana PTR patch changes Keen Blunt Weapon, and include Hit Master (no more Checkmate), most Emperor builds in NA right now would have to regear (including myself). I'm thinking of making the switch to Empress since most pro players are now using Empress instead, what do you think? This is a chance for us to change to Empress since PTR patch for Arcana is huge. Even if we stick to Emperor, we would most likely need to regear as well. Do you still think Emperor is viable against Empress?

It's viable as long as you can hit all the skills in the burst which will be not easy.

It's probably a bit late but if I'm not wrong they did a bad job with Arcanas skill description in the western version. They forgot to add what skill has a counter (at least I couldn't find it so I had to google it) and sometimes it's just not a good translation. Better look up the skills if you want to know about counter or stagger etc. just to make sure
