Sorry for really late reply. I can easily recommend demonic transformation build to newer players, very forgiving to play, however may not see its full potential until late t1 or mid t2 due to it requirin a lot of Spec stat to build transformation gauge fast. Reaper is a lot more challenging and requires back attacks to min max its damage. They are also very squishy. Demonic is probably a more consistent class.

So some of these clips are not my own, I requested gameplay from my friends and they agreed. That Scrapper is a main of a friend called Toorak and he is almost a completely maxxed character (whale territory), to answer your question yes all classes can put out this damage as long as they are geared up as much as that Scrapper is. If you want my personal opinion (you should try out both classes before making a judgement imo) choose Scrapper, solid class. As for gunslinger or deadeye, I think most people enjoy Gunslinger more, very satisfying class to play. But Deadeye is my first love so I will probably gear him up more than my gunslinger!

Those are all perfectly fine! To be honest if you gave me any such list I would say the same thing haha. Play the classes you enjoy the theme and gameplay of honestly, every class is fine truely. If a class is ever underperforming, Smilegate are quick to address it and improve it.

I understand that they are called raids even if guardian raids are only up against one boss and im not against playing with others when the game comes out, but I see many videos of people soloing guardian raids so thought I might ask, also while I am already asking may I ask the same for dungeons/ chaos dungeons as well? Pretty much every guardian is soloable, perhaps with the exception of Achates (final T4 guardian) but I could be wrong perhaps they are soloable too. This includes abyss dungeons, however some actually require group mechanics execution or it is a hard wipe. Surprisingly, some legion raid encounters are also soloable given enough gear. Chaos dungeons are soloable, they are designed as such.

Could you explain how you want to use your dps awakening skills? do you always wait for a vulnerable phase or does it make sense to use it early in some fights, so you get an extra use? for example: you kept your awakening with berserker for quite a while instead of using it when the fight starts.

A few variables to this like what set bonus you are using, does the boss need to have their parts destroyed etc. in general it’s best to use it as soon as you have your own synergy and a buff from your support to ult. If the first knockdown takes a while its often best to just ult ASAP yep

If you really enjoy the theme and the gameplay you will enjoy class and make it work. Gunlancer has a high satisfaction rate, Soulfist not so much; its quite a divisive class. Not many people enjoy Soulfists's identity / long awakening (can be frustrating to miss the spirit bomb). I would definitely say Gunlancer is the safer option, but theres nothing wrong with making a Soulfist as your first alt quickly after, in fact its recommended so you can start farming more weekly resources.

Gunslinger is a little more flexible with how it deals damage, less reliant on back attack, better ranged damage skills. DH is much harder to play, contantly has to be doing back attack and has to be right on a boss to do damage (you do more damage the closer you are). I think a well played DH has potential to outdps a GS but key word is well played. GS has been getting nerfed over and over in PvE though.

@@yongefy Ah its a hard question, they are both really fun. DH was the first class I leveled in the kr open beta and he holds a special place in my heart. I think I've slowly been leaning towards DH though, as an added challenge and I just prefer his aesthetic over all, he also somewhat far less animation lock. However if I did play him I would make sure to be with a bard /hk and a gunlancer for constant heals and shields! lol

Ah, its an artiface set bonus in T3 that you craft from farming legion raids for their crafting materials. It is called Swamp of Longing set, it provides 10% Attack speed and 18% move speed for all party members in the aura and a 10% ap bonus. Also increases identity gauge gain, its a crazy support set

Scrapper shows average performance from the beginning. Wardancers perform poorly in the early days, but they are very powerful in the final spec.

Blade for sure, but thats with an optimised end game build with gear. i think Berserker is far more forgiving at the very start and perhaps a little more fluid/fun to play without gear

Nope they are perfectly fine and are able of clearing end game content and are willingly taken. The Hawkeye played by Tofu in this video has completed all content up to Abrelshud P6 (the final current raid) with his Hawkeye, he is also doing the latest 1540 guardian in that clip.

Yep definitely viable, if you look at the 2nd half of the Deadeye clip you will see a handgunner perspetive

I know every class can work but for those of us who like to really push speed clears what do you this is the best single target dps? Assuming the class would be played at max compacity.

I know you won't like this answer but its worth not banking on one class like this because they DO get nerfed, for example Gunslinger has seen consecutive nerfs the last couple of months in both PvE and PvP slowly closing the gap between Deadeye and GS. Infact it is not uncommon to see a well played Deadeye out damage a GS (although there are so many variables when it comes to gear, gems, tripods and party composition to also consider). That being said, in normalised content Lance Masters are doing exceptionally well right now, to the point where it was meta to take 5-6 lance masters for Hell Mode clears (normalised content)

@@EndieM8 no trust me I'm actually very happy that they regulary "change meta". Means I get to enjoy every class (hopefully) at a top tier. I plan to grind this game like a mad man. I just want to really get in there and test things. First things is finding out what buffs stack, and which are additive or multuplicative

Currently, the class with the best DPS theoretically is the blade. Deadeye, Sorceress, and Gunslinger are the classes that have the best DPS in real life.

I'm glad you find some classes that clicked with you. Something to keep in mind to everyone reading this, all my characters are at different power levels depending on their accessories / gear score / tripods / gems / stat optimisation so don't be too fixated on the raw numbers

​@@alexhype1 in the launch roster, Artillerist and Summoner are probably the most true ranged classes. Gunslinger is a hybrid of ranged and melee, but you can build her to be ranged only (sniper only build) with a specific class engraving, Hunting time. Hawkeye is also a hybird ranged/melee, it goes into melee range frequently. Later on Sorceress will be another ranged class.

so torn between a few. even playing on RU I can't tell what I want to play on the Amazon woke version. Gunslinger looks real fun but probably not the time investment I can make. Soulmaster I really want to do cos the whole cultivation thing. berzerker looks so fun but a bit slow and demonic is really fun but not sure what i'd think about the 2 stances in raids. i guess similar to DH in legion on WoW. Too many fun choices! And for healer as I love healers too, the dude who should be called a crusader looks really fun for healing and damage and utility.

wait only infighter is doing casual 21 mil crits and on ulti she pulled 88 mil crit just like nothing ? wow.. you can't even compare that dps to any other class in this video.. seems so unreal what that player did in comparison to all other 20 classes ? i know there is no DPS meter, maybe it's better for game, but jesus christ.. just imagine somebody thinking he is doing good/ok and you come back here at 10:45 with 27 mil crit, and at 10:57 you witness like easy 88 mil - just LMAO.. scouter fail wouldn't comment, that class is somewhat hard to micromanage..

@@rebel6176 tbh every class has good aoe if built correctly, every class has tripods on skills that are more aoe focused. That being said I suppose some do stand out more than others to me, Zerk had really good chaos dungeons clear speed, as does warlord with 360 burst cannon (literally 1 button spam in chaos), artillerist, blade, paladin and summoner
