Gun lance back hop might seem small but it helps a lot of you include evade extender in your build. Good video non the less.

It also looks like the back hop comes with built in evade window 5, with all those i frames, adding extender to it would make it crazy

Blue seems like more my style since I love playing tanky classes. I just wish you didn't lose so many cool skills. Blue looks like it takes the class from being a GUNlancer to just a Lancer.

The only red skill really worth it is surge cannon. And you can run surge in a blue build. It doesn't get buffed from shield but it doesn't matter much.

@@MrDankDro Yeah, I've been using Surge Cannon here and there since, like you said, it can slot into a blue build pretty well. I was mainly talking about things from a visual standpoint though. I just wish Blue build had more explosions.

i really like this video it answers alot of questions i had about gunlancer like ALOT of them but i do wish you went into engravings to shoot for on gear and ability stone. but i really liked how you even talked about rotation for each build most people dont do that in their guides that i have watched so this was crazy helpful. How come all the 5k-10k subs lost ark content creators are the goats? Great video. At lower levels, the taunt doesn't give you nearly as many shields. I will do part or all of a rotation without my shields up just to help build some more if it is safe to do so. The leap, big electric move, and charge all build a decent amount of shields.

Nice I'm currently considering switching to a Gunlancer and this guide seems very useful. Toggling defensive stance to move and fill is great to know. Goes into more detail, and also seems to have very different skills for blue build than others I've seen (they seem to include Charged Stinger and Surge Cannon)

it's hard to make the transition becuase they take differnet engravements and tripods. Almost like making a new character.

i think even if you didnt get to hit the head all the time, red still do way more damage then blue. blue simply provide you extra safety and utility for your team

from everything ive read, blue is far superior in t1 and some t2 content. Once you get big stats red becomes strong, but they are about equal at that point.

as you progress, you will get more specalization, which will increase your shield gains. You will get there eventually

I have a question i just cant choice even after this video between Red and Blue , i feel a bit weak with Blue Gunlancer , and btw can i switch between blue and red any time after i did all the engravings and all my stuff on one of the builds? if yeah how u switch it is somthing that cant be switched and i can actualy make a big mistake ?

right now the game is too early to "choose" a build, but if you do choose a build with multiple lv3 engravings, it is really hard to switch becuase you would need to have new accessories and ability stones that perfects the build. I think it's good in the meantime to play the game and try out many skills as your liking.

Any damage engravements like grudge, sharp blunt, cursed doll, + combat stance level 1. Red is loneknight level 3. I got an engrvement video coming up so maybe that can help you think creative afterwards!

I know this may be a dumb question, but I will ask. I boosted a gun lancer and it did not come with any books for engraving. The stats on the provided 302 gear and more towards expertise. Which "spec" (blue/red) is better until I get better gear?

I think around 302 item levels, you can pretty much set anything you want it wont hindur your progression, the min maxing really matters after t3. So I think you're totally fine

few questions: 1. how does blue build dps compare to red in reds? i hear that blue has less burst but after several mins, long term blue has more total dps due to consistency. which does more total dps? 2. red skills have more stagger as you say - how important is stagger mechanic? is it worth it with red dps being too conditional (need to crit, need to hit head)? 3. blue gets specialization stat and appears to have 200% boost to blue skill dmg, why crit and not swiftness? wouldn't more cd reduction be better for total dps if you casted a skill more often vs critting more? asking with total dps in mind. (actually, i would like to go specialization + swiftness rather than specialization + crit)

1. red should be technically better if played perfectly (all head attack) 2. stagger becomes more important after ilvl 1445 beyond legion raids, but both blue/red have top tier stagger. red has 5 times more destruction skills 3. it's specalizaiton main, crit or swiftness sub, but majority does crit due to lack of crit %

Idk what meta r u talking about but in Korea rank almost all higher rank Gunlancers r using Red build. Blue is used mostly on alt gunlancers.

I would love if you would do or point to a nice sorceress guide. I'm playing the class and I'm having quite a good time, but I'm really wondering about the difference between instant cast reflux and cast reflux. The second, at the moment, feels like it has better potential for damage, but I've had trouble clearing Alaric's mechanics with it due to long cast times and cooldowns. At the same time the casting skills feel really great to land and also provide overall better stagger and weak point.

Red is a blast...blue is fun but it starts to get really dry after a bit. As soon as you have enough spec to fuel your shield generation you find yourself being able to just stare down bosses.
