i am going eo till the patch hit then i am going back to robust,, can you give a playstyle explaination kindly. i dont wanna throw myself without knowing how to play

Hey, I saw your other comment so I'll try to respond to both here (long paragraph incoming). If you really want to try it out then go for it, just know that after the patch robust and eo will be using different skills (2-3 skills depending on preference) due to their class identities being reworked a lil bit. This means you will have to get separate gems or have to reroll them whenever you switch. So thats just a heads up. The playstyle is considerably different from robust. You will have access to all 3 hype levels, but you never use hype 1. Always start from hype 2 and above. You will be a lot faster with less cooldowns so it will take some time to get used to and it will feel more spammy. Don't be afraid to spam away as long as you always fit pummel and blast in energy release buff (just like robust). You want to take Dominion fang relic set (you can use hallucination too but it will be a little bit weaker with longer cooldowns). Using dominion fang will be the most annoying part in my opinion. If you have over 1700+ swfitness you can use awakening for the dominon buff in hype 2, but there will be 4-7 sec downtime on the buff depending on how much swiftness you have. You have 2 options to get full uptime - using conviction + judgement and then awakening (in hype 2), or using awakening in hype 3 (don't need convict/judgement). While robust can normally fit 2 cycles (energy release + pummel/blast etc) eo will be able to fit 4-5 in hype 2 (3 cycles in hype 3). Hype management: This will also take time to get used to. It is very situational and depends on the boss fight, when it phases, how strong your party is etc. You must be able to adapt in and know when the boss phases. EXAMPLE: Hard brel gate 1: During dogs - i'll stay in hype 1 and cancel right before dog dies. After dogs (thirain part) - if my part is strong i will stay in hype 2 and turn off around 5-7 bars. If part is weak i will go instantly to hype 3 and it will be back up before they bosses fuse. After fuse - boss starts at 120 bars and phases around 80ish and 40ish bars. If party is strong I will go instantly to hype 3 and the boss should phase, and it will be back up after mech and repeat. If party is weak I'll stay in hype 2 for 1-2 rotations then go hype 3. Skills and rotation is basically the same as Robust (this will change after patch), but you will have more flexibility. Hope this helped a little. I dont understand why the people cancel the awakening... can u explain?

The animation is a bit long. Granted, you could use awakening in hype 2 but there will be around 5~ sec downtime on dominion buff and I'm too lazy to rely on conviction judgement in hype 2 to get full buff uptime. So I prefer to use awakening in hype 3 where it gives most cooldown, but hype 3 is too precious every sec matters and using animation cancel saves me like 2-3 sec which guarantees 3 cycles (Energy Release + Pummel). It's just a min max thing.

@@jwoo4639 Will this also line up the 2 min dominion timer properly with your hype 2/3? i always have problems keeping them in sync; i spend some downtime in hype 0 with no dominion buff sometimes.

@@jimmyou4509 Yes. If you awakening in hype 3 you will have plenty of time to comfortably use next awakening, whether it be in hype 2 or 3

can you kindly do a vod explaining rotation and hype management and whatnot. I am a robust just swapped mains, but since the patch gonna hit in August i was like why not try eo for 2 months then rebuild to robust. I always get stressed out not knowing how to play a class. Or do you suggest i just fully invest in 5x3+2 on my robust?
