really liking this new build, but I have a quick question - I have a 9 cd 7 adr stone, so I'm not for sure I can make enough crit to pass the 60% crit rate threshold required for kbw (since I'm basically locked into level 2 adr now). My base crit rate would be 20% from the necklace + 10% from adr + 20% from the encroachment skills tripods = 50% crit rate with no party synergies. Is it still possible to run this build or is it better for me to run 6 set nightmare build with full crit stats?

It's fine to run Adr2 with this build and it is stronger. There is no such thing as a universal "KBW threshold" as it depends on the remaining engravings available and the efficiency of said engravings. With Adr2 your crit rate would be about 33% (necklace + bracelet + adr2) which would mean 53% on Spender skills and 78% on Piercing Thorn. Overall KBW efficiency would be about 14.1% (assuming no back attacks on the possible skills) and would increase to about 15.9% with a single crit synergy. This is still way better efficiency compared to like HM or MI. Nightmare build is also good and your overall crit rate would definitely be higher (more yellow numbers). I guess it really boils down to preference at this point.

Are all the spenders performing simillarly in terms of DPS contribution, or is there a stronger one? How about Piercing Thorn, what is its performance when compared to the spenders?

They are similar in terms of damage contribution. Cruel Cutter being the strongest at about 24%, Grind Chain 23% and Spinning Weapon 21%. Piercing Thorn for this particular build is about 15% while Decimate is 10% (assuming no Backs).

hey nice videos for PS shadowhunter can u have a build in your clips stream that uses only 2 purple skills which i like more that 5 purple skills is it a viable build stronger or weaker? what is your thoughts

Do you mean Entropy build? It can have a higher ceiling with the proper synergy but I think the Dominion/NM build just performs better on average.

@@ahmedel-ads8017 I'm fairly certain the other builds I tried all had at least 3 purple skills, which was on my early testing where I used Sharpened Cut instead of Piercing Thorn. It's a lot worse though because Piercing Thorn is way stronger.

Well this comment will take a while. First i love your videos^^ Second: Can you play her with Grudge, Ambush Master, RC, PS 3 and Adrenaline 3? I followed another guide which suggests those engravings with entropy as set. I have her only at 1490 gs which is the reason why i cant make a 6 engraving build. I play only with 2 spenders which why I dont have a long uptime... I personally find it interesting that you can play her with NM DOM. My problem is just: I like your version of the build so much more but i dont know if your build is made for 5x3 and generally low buget version. Some insight from you would help a ton^^ love from Germany

You cannot play this build with Ambush Master. All your main DPS skills do not have back attack. If you plan to go for a 5x3 build, you can either go Grudge + KBW + RC/CD + PS + Adr or the 4x3+2+1 variant which is Grudge + KBW + RC + CD + Adr2 + PS1. Either would be fine. As for the stat split, I would recommend going 2 Swift earrings and rest Crit. At lower gear score, yearning levels are still at 1-2 and hence you can't fully utilize the Dom Fang build since you'd typically build Mass Increase.

Does this build have enough crit rate to be used without elixirs? Or would going full nightmare 50/50 crit swift be the better play till then?

Without Elixir, base crit would be about 38%. This would mean 58% on spenders and 83% on Pierce Thorns. Only Decimate would have really low crit rate. Overall your KBW efficiency would be around 15% which is still better than using CD and would go up with a single crit synergy. So this build is still perfectly fine even without elixir. Honestly 50/50 Nightmare vs full swift Dominion is more of a playstyle preference than anything. Both are good builds.

@@KibisBayArea Way too high of a difference to even consider using Sharpened Cut (even with PS3). This is also further compounded by the fact that you have crit damage tripod on Shapened Cut, which makes it even worse with KBW.

It's been difficult for me trying to find good data on these builds, and its helped me lot in preparing for the patch to hit the NA server. I wanted to ask about the differences between 50/50 NM vs full swift 4Dom 2NM - do they parse similar numbers (in trixion and in real raids from youre personal impression as you dont have meter)? I'd imagine that if they are similar then 50/50 crit swift would just be better due to being less uptime-demanding with higher cooldowns. Did you specifically choose the 4Dom 2NM build for any reason? Thanks in advance.

Wine. Gives either 3% aspd or mspd depending on which one you drink (doesn't stack). You can get them on Peyto/Fermata but there's a 1 minute cooldown on 'em to purchase.
