The only way Lost Ark will start growing again outside of Korea/China is to have a separate development team working on a global Lost Ark. We have too many things meant to slow down Korean player progress left in our game when we have new raids coming out as fast as we're getting them. Also, they'll have amazing giveaways in Korea that everyone else will NOT get and we'll be barely mentioned again. Also, we need another support, not a dps.

AGS did a decent job. They bring raids nerf, balance patch, mokoko express to the west faster than when the Korean gets them, which help a lot. But that's all that they can do in their power. Having a separate development team is a bad idea, it's best if the game is uniform globally instead of having different version of the game for each region. I learn this the hard way with BNS, beside, you can't really get a good development team in the west anyway, best to just let the Korean developer to their job.

They could do so to try to fix the game however from what we can see they would rather drop the game into a new region of the world, leaving the problems unfixed, drain everything they can before the game dies and move to the next region

Global Lost Ark is on the slow road to certain death/life support right now. Down to their last 8,000 players with an impossible vertical endgame to reach for new players while also having an the insanely high barrier to entry. Game is done in the west.

They need to finish it 2 min faster because they 46782 alts to run it again. Thats one of the core issue of loa outside of static/friend grps. you cant enjoy this game because it ‘forces’ ppl. in kinda a race to be efficient af. However you wanna argue you that. Thats so weird ‘playing’ a videogame and doing spreadsheets to be efficient af min maxing everything (nothing wrong with it). But loa is also kinda weird they could make even more money if they wanted. Instead trying to make compromise with their customer it feels more like that this game is experiment to see how far they can go with the customer

Everything you said in this video is very accurate, I am completely hard capped on my reaper at 1580 and cannot get into akkan to hone higher. I have been doing side quests and una tasks for weeks now and have no idea what else I can do, I have made it into 1 kayangel raid to learn and everyone bailed after 2nd attempt despite knowing 3 of 4 people were learning it. I have tried to get into other raids and dungeons with no luck. The mokoko discord is a complete waste of time as everyone wants me to have maxed out cards/gear, or stronghold/roster which I don't have and cant get due to not being able to get into abyss dungeons because of gear or no lobbies at all. I love lost ark as an mmo but mannn the viscous cycle of requirements are getting me ready to quit because I cant get any further no matter how hard I try!!! Una's tasks, vertical content, mokoko seeds, and chaos dungeons are the only thing I can do in this game. We need solo content and reduced gold sinks URGENTLY !!! I also know for a fact I am not alone here, and for players like me it is quit material, this game will die if things don't change and the mmo world will be all the lesser for it.

they can do all the solo content they want but if at the end of the day in the latest and most difficult raid you have to do it in a group and you get gatekeep for gear or is too hard, nothing will be fixed. after 2 years of experiment and changes i think that the game core design is just doomed whatever u do, iz jover for real.

Whenever a new raid is coming, it's always be "oh cool, a raid that I will never play" for me. I mean, why not they just release new raids on Normal at probably around 1550-1580 and Hard at whatever the 10% top players is at.

Less and less lobby may just be because you were online at a bad time. Voldis hard used to be lobby simulator, now have a bunch of room in US evening time in NA servers. Akkan hard lobbies will let you in if you are 1610, which is fair because 1600 are a bunch of alts that can't deal dmg and don't know how to play the game. Letting them in will be a waste of time.

There is no saving global lost ark at this point, the player base is gone and those that quit aren't sitting around watching KR announcements to see if a terrible, bot infested greedy shitshow is magically better. Even if LOAON is good, it's not going to be about the issues the west faces, it's not going to change to core problems and it's not going to change the collapse of the economy from 2 years of endless botting and RMT gold. LA in the west is going to slowly continue to decay as the old guard burns out with no new mokoko's to replace them.

MapleStory is 20years game or more and still bring to his community new updates/content/boss like each months and the most important MS global make updates content the way he wants And he doesn't care at all what KR will think the Dev in nexon have spine They try to reinvent themselves all the time MapleStory is a open world when u can grind when ever u want u got events like each week is never ends The Reg Servers there are pay2win i can say that but you got reboot servers that the only way u move on with ur progress its put time and they dont force u to do anything like Lost ark Systems

literally make 35 set 20 set and 40 set become 25 set.. dont make me spend 100s of thousands of gold to an upgrade that feels like shit. For weapon I at least get a fancy glow I can appreciate. Stop making toxic ass upgrade systems that feel shit to do. Transcendence is just that too. can we implement upgrade systems that are fun again? new weapon glows? lvl 11 gems? like actual visual stuff? I dont wanna spend 100s of thousands for 2 lines of added text to my novel that is my nightmare set.

so you like weapon glow? eventhough it cost much more then elixir? 40 set elixir cost you maximum 300k gold (if you don't fomo) and it give you 20% more dmg even with shitty rolls. Weapon honing give you 1.6% more dmg per level, so you need to hone 13 level of weapon to match the power level of 40 set elixir. So basically you would rather spend almost 2 million gold honing weapon from level 12 to level 25, than do 40 set elixir? This is why math is very important and they teach you math since you were a kid. "feel shit to do" is just a bad way to do anything in your life. Your feeling most of the time lead you to wrong conclusion and make you misunderstand things in life. I bet a lot of people hate going to school, hate going to the gym, hate going on a diet because it "feel shit to do", but doing those things is essential for your life. Next time if you want to make an argument, leave your "feeling" out of it.

@@petetam7394 not much, just 3 characters with 40 elixir, 2 characters doing Thaemine hard mode every week, 2 level 25 weapon. But hey, take my advice, i went 100% artisan on level 24-25 of my weapon. There is no way elixir is worse than honing. Honing might look pleasing to you but honing is the worst vertical system in the game. And I'm saying this not to defend smilegate or anything, just want to correct people's misunderstanding. If they nerf honing and elixir and transcendence then I'm happy.

Elixir being more cheap than weapon hone, but such an awful fucking system, with endless fucking animations, wasting my time, wasting my gold, and then all I get for it is 2 more lines added to my gear. I dont see my dmg go up, cause DPS meters are illegal in this game. Why make progression systems that feel awful while progressing through them and the payoff is merely anything you notice. Cool, doomsday gonna do 380 instead of 350 million dmg, ill get some cruel fighters with it. Yet upgrading a lvl 9 gem to a lvl 10 gem feels infinitely more rewarding than completing 40 set. Its dogshit game design and far from fun. Sorry if having fun in a videogame is my number 1 prio xD

Dps meter is only illegal in Korea, not in the west. If you want to have good feeling, do drug instead of playing video game. Elixir is cheaper and give you more dmg than honing, transcendence, level 10 gem, that is fact, and fact doesnt care about your feeling. You think smilegate balance this game base on people’s feeling or base on numbers and statistic?

Start by saying been playing since launch and taking breaks here and there with 3k hrs. Stop playing at abyssal raid release w elixirs bc couldn't get into group at 1610 ever and didn't have all 9 but some 8s mixed in... Was straight free to play stuck in the loop of trying to find lobbies just to raid. On top of getting fucked bc my elixirs are also fucking me into not being able to raid. On top of not having 30 LOS but 25 or something, with an alt I had to give gems to main just to not get into groups. Just simply got burnt out lol. Tired of farms next to none gems bc you gotta play every character to get gems for main. Just too much to do to keep up with the cadence of the game. Restricted in every system as a casual or new player. Sorry for the wall of complaining lol ;P

you run 2 raids on your first character and then buy accessories on your alts. You can get good relic accessories for 2k gold at the most. usually like 500.

I only get to play this game 4 days a week at most if jailed. Rest of the week either doing some horizontal or afking in game and usually don’t even run the game from Sunday to wendsday morning MMORPGS are meant to played daily and especially if you’re a beginner Game combat system is new to you and you want to play it. The game just doesn’t allow it. Making a new character without express pass is too much resources and they continuously remove gold from horizontal content, and nerf the earlier raids
