You can do it. You will just need to understand that NA gatekeeping is annoying, and unless people discuss the Hallu build in guides there will be pushback. I remember seeing it mentioned that you could go Hallu even for Executioner week 1, but it makes more sense for Pred. Just watched a stream yesterday where a shock scrapper running Shock/Grudge/Ambush/PD/Adren managed to MVP and get top famage multiple times in Brel H against an Arcana. The dude is running a wonky build, and yet he plays out of his mind to make up for it. Think about what you want, consider the downsides and the upsides, and choose what you think will make you happy.

Punisher is stronger, but not for so much unlike most classes where swiftness is a lot worst. Punisher looks like Igniter but on entropy while Predator is more like a reflux on steroids.

This is no support, no party synergy, and 1x armored valtan so his numbers aren't going to be that high. His clown raid video can give you a better sense of his dmg.

This is also predator not punisher which is the burst build and big numbers

​@@steve69man420ayylmao destroyer is a burst class. Predator slayer is a constant dpser like scouter, SH, reflux, etc. They all do "low" dmg in a single skill but they attack every second non stop.

I was wondering why slayer is just so much better than berserker, then I looked at his skills and realized red dust is no longer a thing female zerk and then I was like "yea that'll do it". Fucking hate playing with red dust... Edit: Also it seems he can do his dps while equipping shoulder charge which zerker can no longer do cause you lose 500k-1mil dps if you don't run brave slash now lol.

Mayhem pumps, and I see Zerks on the MVP screen when I watch streams a lot more now. Zeals has said it a million times, "if you want to have fun, play the new class" because class design just keeps getting better. But this doesn't mean old classes aren't fun, and that you can't do well on them (some classes require you to be an absolute crackhead to MVP).
