I hope the Summoner rework keeps a lot of her identity. Personally I think temporary summoning spirits for elemental attacks is quite different to what Sorceress does. Really only the "basic" elemental skills should be reworked to make them better fit the spirit thematic. Also makes me wonder if Artillerest will be touched at all in the future, as Scouter/Machinist just seems like a better version of him... Whatever the case, thank you so much for these videos! They're helping me narrow down my decision for the class I want to play when Lost Ark hits NA/EU next month!

I also hope the reword will concentrate more on her summoning skills instead of being a summoner sorceress hybrid. Artillerist and Shadowhunter kinda need to be reworked imo as the scouter is just the superior version. I'm super happy that my Videos helped you and thanks so much for your support!☺️

@@EarlyNai late but attacking builds up the little white gems at the bottom. you can cycle through the summon attacks by pressing x or clicking, you can then perform the attack by pressing z

The summoner was supposed to be the standard "Sorceress" when Lost Ark came out. She uses minions and elemental spells. Now that the actual Sorceress came out the summoner kinda lost her identity. Smilegate announced that they will rework summoner.

I like this interpretation of summoner where the summons for the most part don't last. You're more summoning their image and power. This is coming from someone who plays summoners in most games. Interested to see their rework, but hope it maintains some uniqueness.

@@monchan7649 Guild Wars 2, Grim Dawn, PoE, Torchlight. None of those really being RPGs depending on your definition. I always look for a summoner class first when playing games with a class system. Then Mage next.

i wated so much for this game, just to play for 2 weeks and uninstall. Still the idea that this game has no open world pvp and its just a random dungeon simulator its a no-go. And as an ALWAYS (when its available ofc) summoner player, this class has nothing to do with summoner, its just a mage with animals in them not like idk: lineage 2 summoner, bns summoner, aion summoner that HAVE PETS. and most of their skills depend on that/those pets they summon
