I just did it today for the first time, Gate 1 was ezpz, Gate 2 isn't complicated in practice. Looking at the video i was like,okay we'll see. But actually doing it feel easier.

Thanks for another helpful video. In the beginning, you say the party leader should throw a corrosive bomb as Valtan is preparing to charge the tower. Do both party leaders throw corrosives or just the raid leader?

This raid is designed very well. In the first few tries it almost seems impossible but after a few tries it's definitely possible. And that feeling of barely making it at the end is amazing. First successful runs I got MVP both times no Grudge! I love Gate 2 mechanics. We had no supports and it was random people on party finder.

Is light of salvation/lostwind cliff effective in there or should i get the card set with hp bonus?

I think -5% Damage from boss monsters is great for this

If you have them awakened for dmg bonus always use those ones, otherwise hp or something is fine.

Nope, you just join gate 2, its like abyss dungeons, you can do the 2 part seperately

It's the first Legion raid and it only has two phases (Gates), lots of Mechanics but nothing when compared to Vykas or Brelshaza

2 weeks ago Valtan hard both gates took days for me to finish. Now it took me 45m to finish both Gates… And people were crying about Valtan being too hard.

Only if you dont have a guild or static. If you have cleared it once next time you should be able to clear it in life half the time , or even less. the try after that 2 hours and after that 1 hour for both gates. It will be like argos where people learn the patterns and after 1 month everyone knows what to do on autopilot. Its much more punishing tho since no revives
