In a way its easier than Argos - Argos has a lot of damage you just cannot dodge well, while all the attacks from valtan are avoidable. I've never done it before patch day, and managed to get hit 0 times from 150 to 53 stacks in one of the runs.

So I've not beated Valtan hard yet... I've always been the last survivor of all my raid team and the reason why we can't clear it cause people get that nervous tick at the ghost phase. Instead of trying to survive and counter buying time for thirain they attack the boss get panic, try to dodge and then get knock out. Some time If I get lucky I'll have 2 other veteran teammates with me but the mech that gives the boss massive dps buff and attack speed at the end will get all of us. 1 basic attack mean death... That is BS! 15m after this comment I beated Valtan hard lol!

Tried it 2-5 AM with a group and it didn't work. Too many Pepegas dying to random shit at 80 bars. Joined another group the day after and we oneshotted it. Valtan HM will be a bigger joke than Argos once people have their relic sets. Also nothing new that NA struggles with PvE content. That's the case in every game/mmo.

i almost always run without support. And i use 1-2 pots for the whole run. Everything valtan does is really predictable and avoiding damage is really easy.

I did it but after 7 hours. I suppose people are still learning, its only first week after release but the longer i stayed on Valtan the easier for me atleast he was. Patterns aren't hard, the only thing which can really kill you is fall off from tower.

it's just an extra bonus. you get 12 on clearing hard valtan, and that box gives 5 extra for any whale that wants it. For the chaos stones you get some on drop and from first time clear.

Na man. Valtan is not about DPS, it is about learning the fight and execute it properly. If you fail, got knocked over the edge then you do 0 dps, regardless of how good your class is.

Hard valtan is almost impossible to do with random apes. No granades, no pattern knowledge, no food, no dmg. Stopping raid after 3 wipes. Grudge noobs getting one shotted. It took me 6-7h to finally kill him with 2 man alive at the end.

Valtan hard is hard when u have people that never played MMO in their life before and they enter a raid compared with WoW difficulty to Ragnaros normal back in 2011 Firelands I did like 6 hours of wiping on hard valtan with my guild group and well we got to the Goat stage ( the last 40 hp bars ) but with only 2 players so yeah....

It’s not pain if you find a good group to do it with. Was honestly the best 7 hrs I’ve spent on this game so far tbh. Also I assume next week the time to clear would go down drastically since we all know what to do by then assuming you run with the same group again, or most of them at least. Plus if you plan to run normal, prepare for a similar amount of time spent at valtan. Hard mode and normal are identical if done at item level. Maybe normal does a little less damage but trust me, you hardly die to damage at valtan gate 2. Most deaths are due to mechanics which are exactly the same in hard and normal. So either way you’d have so spend the time to clear him. It’ll be worth the time, trust go enjoy it.

Vultan hardmode actually ruined the game for me, hearing this is the easiest of the legion bosses and it taking me 8 hours to kill with a group of whales, I realized lost ark may be too much for my Americanized attention span

The game and the raid look fantastic. But the game seems to be geared more towards human motor skills. That's actually how most MMOs from the Asian region are knitted. In my opinion, the mouse-clicking destroys the game in that it makes it incredibly difficult. Not because you don't have a plan and don't know how to use your skills, but because it just requires extremely fast clicking and pressing. A mouse clicker game with so many skills and at the same time with mouse clicker control of the character basically requires only one thing - reaction skills. If the character controls were at least done with WSAD, that would be far better.

Pure comedy. What most people should know about Lost Ark is that once you hit about 1370 or 1385 (even if you are spending just $100 a week) is that fatigue will set in, and you will need to swipe more ore create multiple ALTs to progress. This means dedicating more than 8 hours of play a week ( min 4 alts at T3) to get to 1445 in like 4 months. This game is not for people 21+ who have real life responsibilities - more for Asians and other keks who like to use the "weak" word cuz they are tough bad guys who live with their parents and no real life.

ok im rdy for valten but i think i pass and quit the game.. people and their g2g gold.. im way to afraid to buy rmt and potentially get a game ban flag on my main steam account.. you have really no chance against the people that got the balls to buy gold. there are two options.. they will get banned or not.. if not i just uninstall it.. or amazon makes a clear statement. they said 1st time offense is not perm but some people claimed to got perm banned.. if i would know its not perm i would just go full all in with all my cash and i am good for a year or so. but like this idk. garbage game rn because of that whole situation.. and dont tell me to buy gold ingame.. rmt prices are actually effortable compared to the ingame scam prices... 55€ for 2600 blues .. they're nuts.

My main worry about LA's future is that it's going to get too hard for most players to enjoy & progress anymore, which will force people to just quit. No point in playing an MMO if you have no progression to work on. The game would be much more accessible and popular if they added an easy/story mode to bosses that gives less rewards, but still gives casual players a reason to keep playing.

It's not that bad. By the the casuals get to vulton, people will know the fight and you'll be carried. You can pug argos now and get carried most of the time. And after you do a few of them, it won't seem so hard to you anymore.
