This is Matt's dad. My son has given me(and the world) another excellent documentary. I hope your viewers realize the huge amount of work required to produce a video like this. @graveexplorations3 жыл бұрын
Thank you, I very glad you enjoyed the video! And yes, please pay them a visit. Cecil Allen is in the old section of Loma Vista near the house. As for Aline Miller, I found contemporary news articles and an obituary stating she was interred at Calvary in Los Angeles, however, when I asked the cemetery for help locating the grave, they couldn't find a record of the burial... so I'm really not sure. If aviation is your thing, and you can make it to North Hollywood, I suggest visiting Valhalla Cemetery and the Portal of the Folded Wings, it's a stunningly beautiful structure and so many of aviation's pioneers are there. I made a video on it a few years ago if your interested.

41:30 i know this is an old video but it really seems like he was acting self destructively and recklessly due to depression. He said he didn't care what happened to him before the pacific flight. It breaks my heart they found a picture of Eliieen on his body. Well worn as if he took it out and looked at it often. I really feel like being an exceptional child also played a part. Many extremely gifted children struggle as adults because they believe they are destined for something great. And they become very disillusioned and disappointed the older they get. I really do believe him when he said he didnt care what happened to him. He felt he had nothing left to live for with Eileen gone, and he decided he was going to die or go down in history. And he didnt care which. Very sad story! I would love to hear you just tell the bios of obscure historical people too if its too difficult or time consuming to get out to the gravesite!
