I got lost in a hotel I was staying in one time and I forgot the number so when I knocked on a random person's door I was like, "your not my mom...." and they just stared at me. When I was 9 my parents took my the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando Florida and we got separated when I was staring at a shop and they kept walking and since I had about $300 to spend on gift stuff, instead of trying to find my parents like a normal kid, I bought a Ravenclaw robe, Prefect badge, two wands, and multiple other gifts. After partaking in these activities, I spotted my parents _waiting in line for the Buckbeak ride, completely unaware I was missing._ I then proceeded to walk up behind them, _popping a few Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans into my mouth_, and said, in a very sassy voice, "How's your stay going?" My parents whipped around, saw my getup, turned back around, then back around _again_, and finally accepted the fact that hey had gone mental. They never knew I was gone. _I bought $300 worth of Harry Potter mementos and they didn't fucking notice I was gone._

I was in Greece with some friends and their parents and we started wondering off...then we realised we "traveled" almost 3 miles away and we didn't know how to get back.And I have to point out that in this city we were in basically only 1 out of 7 people knew english,so imagine haw that went. I was one time at the mall with my mom and sisters, I somehow ended up losing sight of them and was just trying to act casual and not freak out in the middle of the mall. An hour passed, and me being a complete idiot, suddenly realized that I have a cell phone and I can just call my mom. So I did. I asked her where she was, she said they were driving home! She even went on to say that she felt like she's forgetting something. Yes, mom. You forgot I existed... Honestly, how have you maintained four children like this? (I'm the third kid)

Once I got lost in a museum after my sister decided to move to a different gallery without informing me. When I couldn't find anyone, as any sane person would do I walked up to the reception area thinking if my parents don't find me they will at least come there for announcement. After 5 minutes, I heard a major chaos upstairs, so I went there to find my mum going hysterical. I was hoping that like in movies, when I would be reunited with them they will hug me and all. Instead my mum slapped me in front of all these curious and amused faces. I was 17 at that time and it was by far one of the most humiliating experiences of my life. 😑😢
