It is good that some of these fireproof textile mills have been retained - in other West Yorkshire towns, mills mysteriously tend to catch fire.

Another enjoyable video. Do you know who the Wilson in Great Wilson Street is, I can't find out a clear answer my self? Tangentially related, what is your thoughts on the hire bikes Leeds has just got? It definably shacking up the look of the city, hopefully for the best.

Hi, I am sure I recall seeing that Wilson Street, later Great Wilson Street, was named after the Wilsons who lived at Camp Hall - I can't find where I saw that though - I just checked. Camp Hall was roughly where Neville Street, Water Lane and Great Wilson Street meet now, on the south side of Victoria Bridge. I am watching to see how the hire bikes go. It would be nice to see them succeed.

Leeds could have had many more interesting possibilities had Leeds developed, expanded and maintained its canals, railways, Trams in addition to roads.
