How did you get the green string I cant find it

I flicked through the walk-through so as not to spoil the puzzles I can solve but can't find the one I'm stuck on. It's a river keeper thingy but the game screen only shows those gold 4 leaf clovers, nothing else on the board. If I missed it can someone please provide the time stamp for me. I did see 2 others with rocks etc on the game board. But not the same as mine. I'm playing the Google Play on my Android tablet version. If that makes a difference. TIA
