The pronunciation makes me question if they did any homework on what they are even talking about, or just paid to read. I keep hearing "tinkle" not Tikal. Im questioning much information here.

Yeah the pronunciations on the places are definitely grinding on the ears. Since this is just the beginning of my research on my culture, I can’t speak on the accuracy, but I feel like there’s some misinfo here.

Offense to Maya, Central Americans ( whose Spanish is usually the basis for most of the names you butchered: Tikal, Caracol, quetzal, etc., etc.) and to poor North Americans known far and wide as a people incapable of using other languages.

You took on a great snake in terms of the subject. The snake got away from you unfortunately but good try. It is not Teekle but Tikal. And the Olmec heads are not stucco but rather solid balsat.

Informative and entertaining, very nice artwork. You don't mention that the Maya and other natives of N & S American did not make tools from iron or other metals. All their building and sculpting was done with stone tools. Makes it even more impressive.

where is the written documents or proof that prove they built pyramids in BC time?

It's that way around the world. The pyramids in Egypt were not built by modern day Egyptian. However someone, built them a long time ago. They were at the least, our ancestors.

A nice effort but sooo much inaccurate information and mispronunciations; and the images and artwork used didn’t match what was being said at the time (wrong cities, etc) or were either not Mayan (some northern Native American depictions were used) or were beautiful but completely fictitious and fantastical representations of non existent cities. The rampant inaccuracies make the potentially true info less credible. A Misleading documentary if you’re new to Mayan history and a frustrating one if you’re not.
