Bishop's at Merle Hay Mall was my favorite place as a kid! I always had to sit by the fireplace way in back, and I just about always had the same thing: ham, mashed potatoes & gravy, stewed tomatoes, a soft dinner role, and chocolate pie!

My uncle was one of the food quality supervisors at Bishops. Man I loved their food and the buffet style line you went down. Dad's side of the family also loved La Pizza House down on 14th by the river levee. Worst pizza ever but awesome meatball subs. Thanks for the memories 🙂

This was excellent. No shaky camera.. zooming in-- turning the card over-- giving time to read the message. Well done !

I don't really know anything about it, other than 2505 E. Euclid is now Wells Fargo Bank, and the postcard is from the early 1950s.
