Roman漫画の解釈が広く浸透しているようですが、 私も緋色の風車→緋色の花（緋色の風車後の少女視点）という解釈をしていて、「森の彼方から足音響かせ駈けて来る 　鳴呼...『私』が『ワタシ』を踏み潰しにやって来る･･･」　の箇所は、 少年と一緒に戦から逃げてくる生前の少女を、緋色の花となった少女が傍観している様子であると解釈しています
