Gems I was missing were in the acid-river next to the back of the pirate ship (upper-left corner of the map). You have to use the invincibility gate next to the acid-pit, turn around (don't go into the acid pit), and then go get the gems there.

For me at 561 it was the gems underwater in the acid pool behind the ship and the acid gems underwater in the river right next to the waterfall.

Yes...you've schooled the rhynocs, the ship, crabs, fake ghosts, whirlwinds , power ups,, portals, pits, caves, submarines, ledges , rocks, critters, eggs, gems , treasure chests, canons. birds, plank, land and the acid lake😆 And showed Hunter and Crazy Ed that you're not a sucker and not scared...And you made it look very easy .. Nicely done 😎

at 4:44 at hole in wall on the left, how do you get in there?!! i can glide into the shark mouth easily but cant figure out how to get in that room on the left.

This level is bull,,, everything I click L3 for Sparx to goid me he takes to one of the portals but when I enter the portal and I click L3 again he guids me back out of the portal WTH???

I just spent about 2 hours looking up and down for my last 10, try the skateboard area, as soon as you hop on go the wrong way up the slope and there might be 2 baskets on the right waiting for you. They hide very well

The skybox is all wrong on this one. The original was clearly at nighttime. It gives the level a completely different vibe.

I had same problem, stuck on 665 -- I was missing 35 under acid when you get the power up and then LEAVE the ship and dive right under. Prb would have never thought to do that without this guide. Only thing that was keeping me from the Super Bonus Level at the very end :-)
