I have to tell you, until two days ago when I saw the image and first two seconds of this video, I had never even heard of this mini-series, but because of the first two seconds I had to look it up. I spent the last two days watching it and it's pretty amazing. Thanks so much for sparking my interest! Now I can watch this whole video without spoiler alerts! =) It's lovely.

Yes, it's very clever to do the show the way they did. That line of Amanda is one of my favs. The script writer did a good job--the language of people in P&P world is also lovely. :)

I completely fell in love with this movie, Lost In Austen, when I first watched it last year and I still love it! I downloaded it and I find the story line of how Amanda Price enters the fictional world of Elizabeth Bennet and becomes part of it, trying to fix anything she see's going on that is not like the book, Pride & Prejudice, is fantastic. But what I wonder, is at the end when Amanda goes to see Mr. Darcy and they kiss, does that mean she stays in that world and becomes part of it?

I couldn't agree more. That's exactly as I felt. I especially liked Amanda's line, "Do you hear that? That is the sound of Jane Austen rolling in her grave like a cat in a tumble dryer!" I think it's good that they can make fun of themselves. If it was called, "Pride and Prejudice: The Remake" and they all thought they were doing Austen justice, I would have died.

It seemed that Elizabeth was so used to the modern world and she actually liked it and Amanda very much prefered the Pride and Prejudice world...... so that is why they switched places. Elizabeth could see how much Amanda loved Darcy, and how much she had begun to fit in.......

It doesn't hurt that every "normal" girl has been in love with Mr. Darcy for at least a few phases of her life, and this show (*cough*and EC*cough*) was a fantastic way for us all to go back to dreaming of finding Darcy ourselves.
