Hey man, when I was In Phnom Penh, maybe the best and most interesting thing I saw was the S-21 prison which tells the story of the terrible genocide that happened there. It is also in the city center. If you have the time, it is definitely a must see.

I was stuck in Phnom Penh for about 12 days because my girlfriend had Dengue fever a few years ago. I totally agree with you. PP is ok for a day, maybe two. It has an interesting cultural museum/palace and some nice temples. But damn... That city gets depressing after a few days! The poor street seller kids, "tuktuk sir", "motobike sir" everywhere. It never ends... Cambodia is a fantastic country, but steer clear of PP if you can :P. I liked the small Koh Tonsai along the coast, and Kep was pretty neat to scooter around, too. I'd come back for the more rural areas around Kampot/Kep. Enjoy! Thumbs up for the cinematic stuff in today's vlog!

If you need a break from Phnom Penh, you should definitely spend a few days on koh rong island and koh rong samloem island for their amazing beaches. Other things to do: visit Kep and Kampot (Bokor mountain, pepper plantation), Koh Kong (Tatai river, Chi Phat), of course Siem Reap for the many temples...

Digging your team up with an Ben its always fun traveling with an Irishman :) fancy meeting up with some Scottish folk if your around? there could be good joke with a bad punchline in it . inspired as always GG

- I'm with you... At least for me, I try to spent as few time in the city as possible - then head out to the 'country' where the culture is so raw and untainted by us westerners. So fun. So real. So authentic. That's my feeling, at least. Based on your video - it looks like you got a bit of a taste of that as well. Awesome. I need to visit Cambodia. For right now, 1 month in Philippines - and next stop, Vietnam for 6 Months. Looking forward to your next video!
