Another unique exploration! When I was growing up, I got to experience in home business like this one. Beauty Salons, Grocery stores, Even Veterinarians' and of course Pharmacies. These were always the more popular with a kind homey atmosphere my parents chose these places over the more expensive less personal business. I love seeing the optometrist in house. I would bet they were kind and also popular with their patrons as well. The moss growing under the dining table just a sight to see. It too always amazes me that not just one person in the family would not want some of their lovely belongings left behind that gives me a lonely feeling to think this place and all its furnishings can be demolished especially if it's in a town area. I like yourself saw no signs of children for this couple perhaps they were medically unable to have children. At any rate it looks like they had a happy life with their little business that served the community very few of the places are still around anymore. I enjoyed seeing this explore. What a great location! Very interesting that they were optometrists, audiologists, and travel agents. Assumptions here. As always I am amazed at how much stuff is left behind. So much of the furniture is stunning. The cabinets and bedrooms were beautiful. Very cool how recently you captured this wonderful home. I assume the inside will be cleared before demolition and what can be donated will be. Excellent that you have shared this with us. Cheers.❤

Hallo Maureno 👋😊 Really enjoyed this house with eye doctor office. I liked the stained glass windows. I agree it was very usual set up with three bedrooms. I didn't see any pictures of children. It is so sad to see antiques and plates going to waste. Excellent documentary and it will live forever once it is gone.

The cabinet from which you took out the archery plate and Mr. Robert's pictures was a laminated copy, the solid wood would never have collapsed like that in such a short time, all that furniture is a cheap imitation of the castle furniture, and it would be an eternal shame otherwise.

Many husbands and wives, especially wealthy ones, had seperate rooms. It doesn't appear they had children. The picture of the child you sowed was a boy. He was wearing shorts, and his hair was long as that was the style for small children then. Great video!

OMG! Maureno, how is this possible ? these beautiful homes/businesses just left untouched ? Is this a Belgian thing ? like the French, that have no-one to take over, so it just gets left forever ? And the most spectacular thing is that no-one goes in there and vandalises it, oh how cool is that ? What a place. So much decay. These older abandoned homes were so large with so many rooms and passageway s like the basement of this house. The carved furniture was beautiful.
