I just finish building this and was pretty happy with the outcomes. It stands next to my current overwater platform base and makes it look pretty average. Now to kit it out. Thanks for the design plan. Your detailed step by step process make it super easy to build. The only issue was the snap points. I was always struggling to find the correct one.

@@AaronLongstaff I can't seem to find the design video that matches this. Was one created? I was curious how the fit out looked other then what is in the tutorial. P.s this took me two days to build. 1 day to gather the resources and another to build it.

The only thing that kills me about these tutorials: Step 1: Do some exploits to triple layer this wall, which will be a nightmare on console. Me: Spends 30 minutes over a hundred tries, making it work. Step 2: great now do it 7 more times. Me: Dies. Always 100% worth it in the end though. I have Longstaff builds dotted all over my cluster for community center and the players always love them! Thanks Aaron, Ark makes it frustrating but your tutorials are always unbeatable.

I have a question though, do you take suggestions? I have a large tribe with large needs so we have 4 ocean platforms, but it doesn't seem like anybody really makes big 4 platform builds on KZbin. I'd like to say Thank You for sharing this tutorial with us. I had recently built a 51x51 Pyramid in Ragnarok in the a specific spot in the Desert. I myself can build with anything, but prefer my Tek and Greenhouse, so I made what You did using Tek primarily, it still came out too good, looking forward to add more projects like this one to my collection.

​@@AaronLongstaff A couple of my friends showed me Your builds, as we like to build for fun. They said and I quote: "This guy is as crazy as You are with building stuff". As I too build insane structures. Such as but not limited to. - A dandelion shaped facility inside a Blue Tek Forcefield, followed by 2 more facilities connected through a triangular hallway going between 3 different Tek Force Fields, while the center acted as a Creature area. Red Tek Forcefield was a Weapons and Cryopod and a Yellow one was a residential facility.

I'm devastated. I had 3 minutes left of the video before I had replicated this completely and while trying to pick up a ceiling tile I accidentally picked up the ocean platform instead. I had been working on it for 9+ hours...

I was going to ask the same thing. Maybe a series in which you build stuff that an unofficial server admin could be build. So, community center, dino shops, event or games builds such as battle arenas and mazes etc.

The ocean below the platform must be really deep if it’s saying that. Enabling no clip will allow you to build higher

Cool build but if only the game went as smooth as yours did, everytime it shows the right snap it goes to the opposite and replaces the walls. Like the double door frames on the windows kept replacing the walls so annoying and other things too. Skip the 27:00 part where you put the wooden slanted roof and replace with stairs its a headache i just place stairs all the way down then put the sloped roof and it works out the same and saves time

I really wish you would narrate these damn things.... There are far too many snap points and a little instruction goes a long way as to which snap point you want to hit and which ones you want to avoid. AND WHY! Cause you can get real deep into a build only to find you missed snap points 20 min ago and the entire build is crap now. Meaning..... You know what it is you are trying to accomplish and why X snap point needs to be hit and Y snap point doesn't. You have great builds but ARK is already buggy when it comes to builds.
