I don't know much, but what I gathered myself, Isaac hid himself in the chest, while trying to get away from the stress, because he thinks it's his fault that his parents got divorced. There are people who have more fleshed out ideas. Also, I'm not sure if any of the theories were confirmed

This one wouldnt be good for a whole vid, but it is a good mod for quality of life things. The Binding Of Synth. Its a rework of the soundtrack of the game to make it synthwave themed. It works amazingly and makes the games feel a whole lot different. If you do try it out, then get ready to vibe to the beats my friend.

Hey ToG idk if you'll see this or not, but started a random game of isaac, the first 2 floors having Toxic Shock and the Next having Charm Of The Vampire, i spawned with the d6 and got dog food for the boss fight, but when i picked up COTV it made the game glitch out isaacs head becoming stretched and green and some textures being completely messed up, thought you'd like to check it out😏

Man maybe I should give Lost Items a go sometime. As for mod recommendations, I think you could give Hard Mode Major Boss Patterns another go. You kinda stopped before you even got to any of the affected bosses, and it sounded like you misunderstood and thought it affected all bosses. It only affects the bosses that give an ending, like Mom, Mom's Heart, ect. A heads up though, you might need to turn off AB+ Sprite Rehaul since the bosses have new sprites for new attacks, so if you have something that changes their graphics, they'll just disappear.
