*This thing is awesome It also Bestfor.Garden land for finding any things very easily. Am surprised at how deep it finds things. We have found deep buried old tractor parts on our property. Old tines. This is addicting!!

What type of bay do you recommend for first salt water metal detecting? Sand - gravel - bigger rocks mix ? Before main season ... Up to chest deep ... snorkel detecting.
@sdesic8 жыл бұрын
+Michael Oliver I was wondering about sanded beaches... no targets there. On regular beaches with some rocks on bottom and less sand there is no shifting of targets.

I am like 350 km from nearest salt beach so ... :)

Thats cool . I am a pommie but I live in Austria .I am also in the diving business and dived for over 30 years . I land metal detect here and find a lot of Roman stuff . There are a lot of lakes here and stories of Nazi treasure and gold being dumped in the lakes

Australian waters would not be my favorite place to dive with Box Jellyfish and great whites .I will have to try it mate. I have an AT Pro and they are good to 10 feet so maybe I am already set to go.

I just looked for you on Facebook and there are quite a few in Sydney . I have dived in North Carolina with Sand tigers about 12 feet long ,No cages but not sure I would want to dive in Great White waters although in North Carolina a really big one was caught .Also I dived regularly in Cornwall UK and it is said that a few have been seen in those waters .Take care mate and don´t become a statistic . One 60 year old woman was killed last week in Aus.

I have watch just about all your videos. I love them. I want to do this so bad but unfortunately I live in Northern Maine USA. I have tried metal detecting but only in a few spots. My husband isn't a big fan of it but I am.

I am new to it so I am sticking to my backyard and other small places. We don't have any beach water here just river and some lakes that no one swims in lol. I found an old pocket watch and an old railroad token. usually though it is just old trash lol
