There was a mod that the guy who made Detective Essentials was working on called Yokohama Essentials. It was talking about playable Kuwana, Kaito, Sugiara, and Kiryu(where's Higashi??) in the gauntlet modes along with some other changes. Apparently he lost the files. I tried to ask more questions or see if he would update Detective Essentials to work with latest patches, but I couldn't hear much else. It's a shame. It doesn't sound like he wants to do anything else.

Interesting, not sure if it's really necessary for Kaito to playable in Gauntlet or how it'll play out with Sugi/Higashi. I think it's more interesting if there is a mod that makes Yagami playable in Kaito Files with all 4 styles in that case would make a good LJ videos.
