Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom was a lot of fun from start to finish! A visual feast with loads of awesome ideas for sets & creatures & artifacts, a great pace, fun gags, just enough comic-book-style action & a suitably clumsy underlying theme of a planet in danger from climate change (exactly what's needed these days, as subtlety ain't doin' it). For what it was, it met expectations. Momoa is great in the role & brings a huge dose of FUN! Obvs, don't go to a comic superhero film expecting nuance & depth, but do go for the fun & escapism, and in my view, this had those in spades. Screw the bad reviews - enjoy!

The Lost Kingdom Necrus and its ruler Kordax was an interesting kingdom. It reminds me of the Necrons in the 40k universe, but in this case, the Silent King did less for his people and more for himself. Dark, green, twisted, and power-hungry with a lot of insanity rolled into it. Nice summary.
