Me and my brother fished that tournament this year. I heard you was at the owners tournament over the radio and almost headed to the marina to get a pic, but was all the way across the lake. I told my wife to get me a autograph and pic, and she said she never saw you. I watch this video, and bam. There you are, at one point, 3ft behind my wife and 2 kids under the tent. She is a big Trait fan, I'm sure she could have picked her out of the crowd a mile away.

@maxcole39302 жыл бұрын
Magnet is a good idea, also a casting net would work to. Even if you didn't land the casing net directly on the bait you could drag it & it should grab the hooks. I kept my old casting net just for that purpose. so if I loose a good swimbait I could try to retrieve it & not care if I rip the net up doing so ..

Unless that swimbait was waited to be an extremely fast sink it would never have stayed on the bottom right where you lost it. In 5-6 ft of water your bait as a slow sink would have never been on the bottom but barely the hooks touching... bouncing up and down. With the wind and movement of the water its probably 100s of yards in a different area.
