I love your description of this route. I've been on it once and it was practically life-changing. I just went for the lead straight away, after a long day on Slime and Rap Bolters. Started with the stick clip, and had an early take just before the crux. I then remembered that I'm morphed out, and pulled through it with ease. Cruised the rest of the route, right up until you have to leave the happy foot ledge, and fire up the slab direct to the bolt, never considered going right. I was practically falling apart mentally going straight up it. This is the first route on my list for this fall. I won't be stick clipping the start, because if I don't have strong enough mental for the lead off the deck, I definitely won't be ready for the top. I'll definitely try the right side instead of straight to the bolt, but only after I get it direct, my ego needs it.

Nice job going for it and being morpho! I bet you’ll crush it this fall!

Thanks bro! It was maybe the easy way out. I think it’s time for some TR solo attempts on Chicago bound!

What a beautiful wall. I can't believe I've never been over there. I think it got developed after I moved away.

You missed out! One of the craggiest of crags. The first lines at lost dome went up in the 80s, when we’re you climbing out here?

@@grahmtheoverstoker Late 70's early 80's. I grew up in Ok, moved to California. the Ok climbing scene has no equal.

Fantastic! Was this before or after the Fall Gathering? The weather looks ideal for this route.

This was the weekend after the gathering! Rock was a little warm but not too bad to effect anything
