This is an inferior version of Dead Space 3....but I do like the bit where Luka says "I'm sorry to leave all the fighting to you." I think this is the first shooter I've ever seen where an NPC actually admits that they're doing nothing. Later games have tried to combat this feature by releasing DLCs/expansions where you take on the role of said NPC and the story is expanded upon/retold from their perspective (RE4, RE5, Time Crisis 3 & 4 etc).
