G'day, Massively enjoying all your reviews - thanks for posting! I heard you mention that you had a Chumlee - any chance of a review? Cheers, Don

Thanks Don. I'm afraid I don't have a Chumlee anymore to review but I really liked the board and think it would be a great pick for anyone especially if you have had a baked or a sweet and enjoyed them. I think at the time I was having a good clear out and wanted to narrow the groveller collection down and just found the puddle jumper that bit easier to get into waves on and still turned really well and the Chumlee went amazing in waves probably over chest high for me. Ideally I would have had one with a little more volume but back them the ones with the right volume sounded very long as I was coming off a 5'9" Baked potato.. Ironically now I probably wouldn't have minded but yeah it was a board that rode really well just on the literage I got it meant I wasn't doing the pure grovel on it and when it picked up over head the Chum was getting a wee bit squirly. I just got a Lost Bean Bag. That's a real grovelly board and lots of fun. Have a read of the review I did on the firewire forum below and if there is anything I can help with let me know and I will try to help if i can. Thanks Don Glad you like the reviews :-) firewiresurfboards.com/f/forum/the-pipeline/dan-s-the-mann/63396-chumlee-1st-impressions/page2

Hey mate what would you recommend for a 6ft 95 kg intermediate . I’m currently on a 6.6 Superfish 2 I’m after something different. I’m in the mount so not sure what board I’d need

Hi mate.. Depends on wave size and a few other factors.. The Psycho killer was a great board model for me so perhaps Tommy Dalton could help steer you right. I have a a 6'3" that was custom build to get about 42.5 litres think it was so something like that or a quiver killer or a rocket redux or an uber xl would all give you a chance to go a touch shorter and maintain 40plus litres and probably cover 2-5ft range at the mount ok. Maybe have a look through some of my reviews of those and have a chat with Tommy or have a look around for something similar off the shelf. Sounds like your maybe just after a bit more performance in an all rounder. I had a 6'6' Super fish in the old shape that wasn't a bad board too the others I mentioned probably get you a little more performance . Cheers. Considering selling my one but i'm i CHCH and my backs gone again so i'm pretty much out of action for everything at the moment so couldn't even pack it up. Cheers
