I saw on the mature ratings for this game on the Xbox, and the game will feature violence, gore and blood, suggestive themes, nudity, strong language, and drugs and alcohol. I like that because that shows that don'tnod don't make there games kid-friendly unlike deck nine who want to keep there games pg-14 friendly

Did you catch the newspaper headline at 5:03 and notice the 1995 date and the headline, and there's a burn mark in the center? I don't think the newspaper they used to wrap the box was random. Maybe Dylan or Corey from the Abyss trailer ended up getting swallowed by the Abyss, or the Abyss can possess people and animals? Maybe one of them was possessed and started the fire in the trailer? Maybe they had to call off a missing persons search and resume it after a fire? It also says "improvised concert stirs anger" at 5:19, that could be Bloom and Rage doing a show somewhere unexpected

If this thing does have possession powers, it makes me wonder even more what the entity actually is. If it's able to manipulate reality or people, what else could it be capable of? If the fire happened after their discovery of the abyss, maybe there will be multiple encounters to look forward to. The improvised concert could also be related to the trailer as we see a truck speed off, knocking band equipment over!

OMG YES!!! I’ve been thinking this whole time that Corey is related to Kat and has been ab*sive toward her and that’s why he’s the one who went missing but it makes so much sense as to why Kat is the one who hangs back at the fire too!! Good catch! I also agree that the abyss is a portal to another world-I’m wondering if the Big Bad is going to be somewhat ambiguous too, similarly to how in LiS1 the storm is a result of defying nature and disrupting the balance? Like maybe all the weird or bad things that happen are a result of things happening in the other world or something (not sure because I haven’t fully fleshed out this idea yet lmao) another great video! Truly respect and admire your attention to detail!! Can’t wait for January 9 🤗

Everyone has been coming up with so many cool theories on what the villain might be! I've been wondering too whether it'll be more ambiguous or direct this time around. From what we've seen of the abyss I'm thinking the latter, especially when considering the purple light, forest fire, package, etc! It seems to thrive on confrontation and manipulation. Now we just need to figure out what its motivations are! If the girls caused the portal to open or if it's similar to It and it was just a matter of time! Thank you! I'm excited to see what they'll show us next!

i don't think we should rule out the girl shown bullying swann (believe her name is dylan based on the names on the love lock in the alpha footage) being kats sibling instead of corey. however it is clear the two of them are in a relationship and it's very likely something will happen to one or both of them.

I agree! It definitely is possible that Dylan is Kat's sibling rather than Corey. I actually thought this originally due to the two of them having similar hair colors, but the way Corey spoke to Kat gave me major older brother vibes!
