I remember as a young lad hearing the news of a flash flood catching some kids out playing in the beck. Scary place. I stopped playing in the Canal Rd part of it after that. Looks like the majority of it is all enclosed culverts now. Would love to see a map of where you've been ref the tunnel you were in at the time. 👍. Be safe guys. Loving the content.

Judging by the large cylindrical chamber and the way the pipe from around 14mins in is made from sections of rings rather than just rings/pipe this was dug by either a small Tunnel Boring Machine or a manually dug Tunneling Shield, the huge chamber to the surface is where the equipment is lowered, the ring sections are slotted together and the TMB/Tunneling shield pushes off from them.
