Btw Marisu, the kid with the Feraligatr in FNF is called Silver and the protagonist in this game/in Monochrome is called Gold. There was a creepypasta about Silver and about how pokémon could hear his screams of agony although his mouth is completely shut.

@@Turbulation1 Reidd himself isn't the original author, however the original author WAS in discussions with Reidd and wrote multiple additional story elements for Reidd to utilize, so technically some of the original content featured in this game IS backed by the original author. However the Author hasn't been heard of in a while now, considering they are anonymous it's anyone's guess where they are now. Now the games developer is doing some slight orginal content while still following what was laid down by the original author prior to their leaving.

So yes it takes place on the same mountain you are in snow on mount silver they both take place at the end of the game Each ending has a deep meaning to it. All through symbolism

Uuh no. Technically, in Pokemon Gold, the protagonist is called Gold and in Pokemon Silver, the protagonist is called Silver. We kept Gold as the canon name, but since this is based on Pokemon Silver, his name is Silver in this. So basically Mairusu is right.

You directly name him whatever you want. But since he's called Silver in Pokemon Gold, yeah I think he's called Gold in Pokemon Silver.

Honestly, I dunno. I think I prefer the original. Here there are custom sprites, but in the original, there was just the official sprites slightly edited, so it helped feeling like this was the canon game, but with something wrong. To me, the fact that there are custom sprites takes out the immersion because clearly this is fanmade then. In lore, cursed games never created complicated and very specific sprites from scratch on their own. Instead, they used what they had to do something creepy, and it worked. Just like what the original Lost Silver did.

I think the new artists for the game were intending for a polished retelling of the original creepypasta and maybe even head cannoning that an ex-Game Freak member could have made the original creepypasta ROM. And because of specific the original creepypasta ROM is, with all its sequences and different routes when only one playthrough was intended, probably could have prompted them into believing this thing would have a reasonable amount of effort put into it. I don't think you should disregard Re: Lost Silver just because of the new sprites though, because there is still so much more it offers than the original and how it actually feels more authentic to the original gameboy games, which that alone makes it superior to the original. The creator could also just add an option later on to switch some of the sprites back to the original if people really want that.

Just to make sure (im sorry if im VERY LATE) but Mt. Silver is the final destination in Pokemon Gold, Silver and Crystal. It is snowing however it dosent look snowing because back then they didnt add the snowing effects and if you go to the top you will see a person named Red (The person who said "...") he also says "..." in the original games too and then he will battle Gold (aka the player). Red is actually the main character which you play as in Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow. He also dosent talk so he's like Gold (THE MAIN CHARACTER OF POKEMON GOLD, SILVER, AND CRYSTAL AND ALSO THE PLAYER).

The weird part of this new version, I had a hunch, but it's not finaliized. the strange part of the game where you are walking in the town when you try to speak to the people but you get unknown letters instead, this could very well be them telling you the letters so you don't get confused about what the five unknowns are saying In the very start of the game, Futherly educating you, the player of most (not all) of the letters in the unknown alphabet. This is not a statement, think into it.
