I was at this show, these guys were playing when I walked in. My first thought was: "I don't know what that guitar sound is, but it's obviously fake." Otherwise, good show!

What do you mean by "fake"? Because it's digital instead of acoustic? It wouldn't be trash without processing the sound in some way, or?

I just mean I could tell they weren't using real amps, right away. Somehow modeling/profiling stuff never seems to get the high end right if you ask me. Alexi Laiho was the only guy using a real amp that night, and it was so much better, like night and day.
