I feel fairly confident that there is a good chance these swords will make an appearance at some point in the story. They may not still bear the names we know them by but I dare say they will make an appearance at some point. Most likely during the build up to the show down with the White Walkers. They need more Valyrian steel weapons and I think the mentions of these lost Targaryen swords is fore shadowing for their reappearance in time for the war with the others
