The actor Terry O'Quinn was phenomenal in the role of John Locke. I think he had been preparing all his life for this role, because it was the role of a lifetime. I know this because I am an actor. The role of Locke is the dream role of any actor. When Locke has the moment of saying "Don't tell me what I can't do!". That is the impulse of so many people in society. I know that it resonated with me, deeply. It touches a chord in many viewers at the end of the day. Also, from the standpoint of the actor Terry O'Quinn, you want to resonate with an audience.. Terry O' Quinn does great in this role!!! His performance inspired me to the point of tears. And that is a good thing because that means that the level of engagement was very high when I watched it. I was so caught up in the moment that I forgot about everything else in my life at the moment!!! 😅

@@brandonbuzz7075 He wasn't just an executive. He was Lloyd Braun, the Chairman of ABC at the time. It was his original idea to create a show along the lines of Tom Hank's "Castaway". So he commissioned Jeffrey Lieber to write a script, which Braun ultimately didn't like. He then turned to JJ Abrams and Damon Lindelof, who both came up with the idea of making the island the mysterious central character of the show. When Charlie sacrifices himself in the Looking Glass. 5. When Sawyer finds out Antony Cooper is the real Sawyer and kills him. 6. The whole sequence in Ji Yeon were Sun is having a baby but then reveals that Jin is actually "dead." 7. When we find out that Locke was in a wheelchair but can walk on the island. 8. When Hurley and Charlie get a victory in the dharma van. 9. The opening sequence in season 3 when we discover the Otherville is on the island. 10. And obviously the ending. Beautiful masterpiece. Awesome Top 10 video. Since John Locke is my favorite character, I of course fully agree with choosing the clip that revealed his past condition contrasted with the island healing him. But believe it or not, I liked the scene you included with him and Ben outside the church even more. I know you chose it more for Ben. But to me, that scene perfectly shows the kind of person John was. Ben had not only killed him (and made at least one other attempt prior to that), but also did everything he could to humiliate him while alive. And even still, John straight up forgives him for everything, without delay or reservation. And his warm smile in that scene - that's the Locke that I'll always remember. The one that helped Charlie get over his addiction; the one that built a crib with Claire for her baby; the one that helped Boone finally free himself from his step-sister's hold on him. And many, many other things like that. My favorite character in my all-time favorite series. :-)

Everyone hated "the frozen donkey wheel" ( what it was called in spoilers) but I thought it was so cool they made a wheel that could move the island and we're training polar bears to turn it. Then it exiled you to like Tunisia? Crazy. I enjoyed the sci fi part. Still think the ending was shit. But the electromagnetic qualities were so cool. Like the rabbits in the one video .

This Lost list was saved by the constant being number 1- great episode ever. Second should’ve been Locke waking up without his kidney and being conned by Dad - banging in hatch. 3rd was definitely Bens daughter death.

'The Constant' was the best episode of all of Lost in my opinion. Absolutely first class - the acting the whole concept.

When I first watched this show last year I went through it so fast because I wanted all of my questions answered. But now I’m sad becoming I will never again experience these moments again for the first time.

That’s some great acting skills there.

Back when I watched this...the sawyer scene with locke's dad wasn't a big deal...but after meeting con artists since then I really enjoyed watching that over. They are awful people and they do ruin lives and they don't give a shit. I would have taken my sweet time if I were Sawyer..
