Even if the coins are slighly damaged, they are still the first coins struck in California. That alone makes them highly valuable. This story has more credibility than most you hear about. Its not a robbers got the loot buried it and on their deathbed story. Which is probably why people don't really go looking for it. But the coins were minted and they are gone. Thats not a treasure story. Thats history.

The biggest lost treasure of California is common sense.

This is the kind of case if a person wanted to actually find a cache that is deep in the ground from flooding etc. along with nobody on earth actually buries a cache inches under the ground but feet, you should bring a 3D metal detector which can hit targets up to 26 feet deep at a basic model of like $1,600. It looks like a stick

Wonderful, intriguing stories. But if so close to the treasures. Why would a person quit?

I have plans to search the juggles brothers stagecoach robbery scene. In shasta county. My buddy has a very convincing theory to test.

I have doubts about the Santa Maria treasure. Too much of the story is the same as the lost Jesuit treasure in Arizona. The Jesuits were suddenly expelled from Spanish territory in 1767. They had a reason to hide their gold. The California missions were founded by the Franciscans. They were never expelled from Spain or Mexico, so there was no reason for them to hide their treasure. Whoever invented the Santa Maria story didn't know the difference between Jesuits and Franciscans.

From San Diego to San Bernardino to Escondido to Riverside then to San Francisco then to Santa Maria....that last story was all over the damn map. Clearly an AI generated story.

I'm going to guess this is part 1 of 2 . Since there is no indication to part 1 for part 2 in part 2 or reference. If going to do multi parts videos, indicate it so. And have the same thumbnail a long the same title.

It's a shame they forgot about the San Gabriel mountains where I have heard stories from really old 49ers of the Lost Banks saved that was washed away and never found on the East Fork I've heard tales of the crooked things that went on the robberies the killings over gold I have heard there was more killings up there than at the okay Corral😮😮😮😮

The AI narration is horrible. As well as the bad locations…Rattlesnake Bar on the American river is NOT where shown nor is it a place “visited by aerospace employees”. Lol
