Lost Treasures Season 7 Ep. 21 - Old Logging Camps Early 1900's

This month on our main channel I took Dad up to camp a couple of times. We fished, we drank we even did some detecting. This video will be a compilation of both trips into the woods up the Ottawa river. There I found multiple old log cabins that were no doubt used in the logging industry from the turn of the century. This is such a cool place for sure! I bet that old cabin was a beauty in it's day! Loved the flash back!! Now a days the wedges are plastic! I would take it! I excited to be going back there!! I think that last one is a handle to a cooking pot! See ya's in the next one!! ❣❣❣❣

Neat finds. Did you end up keeping the wedge? Hope so. All cleaned up, it’s a nice artefact to use a paper weight or to keep handy if needed when you cut down a tree.

The brass piece is a tent line tensioner, the size of it probably for a big 'ole prospectors tent!

I believe that is a tap for a tree for sap or water

I think its too big...its about 10x bigger than any maple tap I've ever seen...LOL

If you watch the other channel it was part of the fishing with dad series. I just removed the metal detecting and moved it to this our treasure channel....
