Question from an NA player is you have time. I'm putting together a Surge build and I can do 5x3+1. the 5x3 will be Surge, Ambush Master, Grudge, Cursed Doll, Adrenaline. For the +1 I'm either looking at Sight Focus or Ether Predator. Would you prefer on of those over the other? Is there some other engraving that generally does well as a +1? My stone is 9CD/7 Adrenaline so I can't do that as the +1 until we get 6/3 accessories and I can make it a +2.

In terms of utility, I would go with Ether Predator (lvl1), because at max stack of 30 (if a fight goes that long) you get a 6% dmg and 9% def boost. As a DB, you are constantly hitting the boss so you should get max stacks between 3-5min? Very good for raids. Sight focus only works on 1 ability, i dont know if DOT ability will consume it. At lvl 1 it provides 8% dmg buff to a single skill with a 30sec cool down. So it's usefulness is probably less than Ether Predator. It is fun since folks can see you do the macro text when you are surging tho. I would say go with Ether Predator.

@@elyzabete8447 i would say its 70% of your dmg. Sight focus could be inconsistent if you get cc during the few seconds you have sight focus active. Also ether predator buffs you overall so all skills benefit. I would want ether for its defence boost as well. In terms of functionality ether just goes a longer way. But since this lvl 1 not the true end game the op can play what is funner. Actually he should go RE 1, Grudge, curse/keen, supercharge, adrenaline, ambush master 3 with a 9/7 stone. I think its strongest build for him right now as yolade showed in surge vs re.

Re :Safe and constant dmg and spamming Surge :Big numbers and rng dmg with lucky stacks in a skill, the rest you lose dmg What you like the most but without a doubt I think it is better to play RE more as we are today... it is also what you like.
