Why people always referring Laruku as "greatest in Japan" only. I love listening The Beatles, Radiohead, Korn, Nirvana, Avenged Sevenfold, MCR, Linkin Park, Cold Play, Jamiraquai, Eminem, Dream Theater, RATM, SOD, Blink 182, One Ok Rock etc. And I'm not scare at all to say that L'arc en ciel is one of the greatest band in the world. It complete package, it is a journey.

i hope your reaction draws in more people to appreciate L’Arc too!! all their songs are amazing. im pretty sure you’ll find hidden gems if you listen to their albums! the thing with laruku is that their sound is like their band name- a rainbow. their popular songs are mostly pop sounding rock songs but they’ve got great rock ballads in EVERY album (anata, pieces), they’ve got hard rock (shout at the devil), punk rock (from their alter ego punk en ciel) heck even techno rock! you must look at their lyrics too! it’s pure poetry. the imagery and metaphors they use... it’s an experience even just reading the translations. thanks for this awesome reaction!

For something similar to My Heart Draws a Dream react to Anata (the LIVE 2014 version is my favorite). It's similar as in crowd participation and the band themselves put on one hell of a show. L'arc en Ciel is a awesome band, I don't like pop in general but this guys are really great musicians and their live shows are amazing. Some songs I would recommend are Blame, My Dear (Hyde's vocals are incredible in this song), Fourth Avenue Cafe, Flower, Daybreak's Bell, Ibara no Namida and Jojoushi just to name a few. Hope you will do some more L'arc en Ciel in the future
