I think youre missing the point completely. your videos have just become completely unrelatable and unobtainable for everyone. I started watching you because you showed the reality of backpacker travel and now all you do is go on paid vacations or stay at 5 star resorts and film you and your girlfriend getting massages, no one is saying that you shouldn't evolve your content to reflect your life, but yah... and then you sit here and say you hate the west when what youre describing building in Bali is a mini western world thats exclusive and only for "the right people", super weird vibes. you hate the backwards cultures but then youre going to go on a paid trip to Saudi Arabia?

you guyz are not getting first this guy went on journeys/safaris and on this journeys he reflected a lot whiles doing what he loved he started getting money for it hence he converted it into a business in this phase he was overwhelmed and he lost it on the relatability aspect which he is now trying to chage to connect and teach other people about secondly by the right people he means genuinely kind caring and sensitive people and by sensitive I mean people who are emotionally intelligent enough to not hate on a man who puts himself out there in a video like that people like you are the reason want to live away ,its easier for you to hate than be glad for someone life journey as he grows and fails and learns the meaning of life,

Flipflops- YES! i feel the same way. I used to feel like this kid was one of my kids, we used to watch it all the time. It has just become something completely different. That’s ok, he needs to make his money and everyone changes. I am quite proud of all he has achieved, but he is just not my kid anymore, I do not search it out anymore. I wish him well.

Christian, you never cease to amaze me. That was a brilliant video. You were such an old soul in a young body, in addition to that, you are incredibly inspiring. Stay focused on the Why and when you feel a little lost, go back to the why. You’re doing a great job. I am from California and you’re absolutely right regarding what’s happening now. We are totally backwards. And going further all the time. So sad. I look forward to seeing what’s going on next with the direction that you’re going. You’re an extremely insightful young man and you will do just fine. Thank you very much for the brilliance today. Sending love from California.💜🤗🤟🏻😎🇺🇸

Big props to you for sharing this behind the scenes info and issues. Really, it helps so many other small businesses, seeing not only that "others" go through the same problems, but that you shared a gameplan for the future. I've never thought your channel was suffering in any way, but sharing those business struggles it humbling and super transparent. I guess the only thing I always wondered about was the "family" issues you disccussed. Being so remote and away from family must take its toll. What a great thing to discover, I wish you well as you cultivate this new endevor and reach your new northstar.

Thank you for your heartfelt update. So wonderful to hear how you have grown over the years bringing you to the place you are today. Thank you for sharing your behind the scenes thought process and how your self-reflection...and how that will complement the channel in the future based on your values and priorities today. To live our most fulfilling lives, then just as you are, we should be continually grow and evolve. I also...relate very much to your sentiments on what we are seeing in the western world. Born in the US, today I barely recognize the country I love so much. I have been on a search abroad to find a place abroad that feels most like home for all of the reasons you mentioned. I know no place will be perfect and I don't expect it to be. I just want a place that shares more of my core values and has a more unified spirit. Wishing you continued success in every area of your life!!!!

Been watching you since the original Philippines series. Its THE reason I went out to the Philippines and started my travel journey. It was the immersion, it was off the cuff, it was organic and we could tell. You were just a guy amazed by the world around you and a bit of that magic seems gone. There was something so genuine about it that I fell in love with. Haha actually when I was in Bali a month ago I thought that if I meet you on the street I would say “hey man, don’t forget to breathe every once in a while and enjoy life a bit.” 😎 And you are right - let more of this perspective shine through, it’s a beautiful picture you’re painting. Hi Christian. For me, this is the best video you have made. I have enjoyed you sharing a bit of Bali, a few other adventures and what you are doing with the Lost Creator Academy and your additional focus on your personal home and the homes you are building. This video however spoke to me because it is so closely aligned to the reason I will soon be making Bali my home (4-6 months at first, eventually growing to full time.) I will be semi retiring, but since I am not a golfer etc, it is your passions that have kept me looking every week for your newest video. While I have felt this way from the time I discovered your channel, today you spoke to a spiritual side, or at least a much more personal side. Having you share that Bali just feels more enlightened and forward than much of the west is exactly where I am at and am you seriously brought a great deal of emotion and even tears while listening today. I could go on, but will just say thank you for now and I will be looking foward to the next time you share. Take care and sending grace and blessings your way. Have a safe trip to Saudi Arabia.

We started out global travel vlogging at around the same time, and even though our journeys are completely different, especially the part about Western culture feeling "backwards" is something that truly resonates. I've personally moved to India because that's home for me, and I love giving back here by showing the completely different side of India that old school media would never bother to show. As an introvert I can't indulge too much in building a community, but every time I feel 'lost' when creating a video or building my business I always come back to your channel. It always shows me new possibilities to 'expand as an average person'. Thank you for opening up, loved this open heart to heart talk! All the best for you, Ruby and your family

What’s sad is people who have strong views about someone else’s life, don’t listen and summarise others’ words with irrelevant and ignorant conclusions, to make themselves feel better about their own sad lives

@@funnybones6131 i don’t have any thoughts, it’s not my life and not my place to comment about someone else’s life. I just appreciate when people are honest, vulnerable and have balls to open up and talk about it. It’s certainly much easier to pretend all is hunky-dory and never share the reality. It certainly takes some balls to be real, especially with complete strangers who are quick to judge

@@annasz3292 He’s asking for the comments in the vlog though and actually that’s the very reason he’s putting out his personal life on social media and in the public domain.

Great video as always. Been following since 2016 and it's been great seeing the evolution and also how you're thinking beyond the endless cycle of travel content like most "influencers". Looking forward to being a part of one of your meetups at some point.

What a wonderful and refreshing video mate. It takes a lot to admit our own failings especially when we put so much work into things. As we know it's not about who is wrong or right but just what's best for the situation. I wish I was this smart when I was this age. Sure I'm 44 so not entirely ancient but you're an inspiring guy and I soak in the positivity into my own things... Cheers man!

It’s nice to hear your comparisons between Bali & the west & why it’s no longer as appealing as it used to be and in your future plans for your family! Good luck!

Appreciate the raw video Christian, been watching since 2015, inspired enough to leave the western world and start similar path couple years later, and wouldn't change it for anything. Don't worry about numbers, you've already done your numbers, focus on your happiness, the real people will stick around with whatever you transition into, and that's all that matters. Sending love from Creator house 💚

Totally agree with your opinion on Canada and a big part of the western world. Looking myself to get away from Canada in the next couple of years. Thanks for your openness, Christian!

While this may just be a channel, it provides ample opportunities to learn. It's admirable that you're identifying and addressing issues. You've come a long way to get to this point, and we are all growing together in this community. I wish you the very best, my friend, and hope you achieve all your goals. ✌️🤟👏

I love seeing you share the personal growth in your life. Sharing like this can help others in their life's journey. Wanting to give back is also important and rewarding, the western world often seems to forget about the greater good. Thanks.
